That's my point. The others were * and yet he didn't do much in terms of creating bar the Forrest off the post..

 

Aye our front line was atrocious

 

His run and pass to Forrest was the highlight of our match, which is laughable. A brief 30 second spell then he reverted to type. It's a * disgrace that he's still at the club.

 

Was good for the first 5 minutes then completely fell away. Useless.

 

Works hard. But he’s * dross.

 

As we can all see, his effort are desire and brilliant and a refreshing change from some of our other players, but he is bog, big standard and nothing like what a club of our stature and finances should be looking to for a result against a mighty Kazakh side in the CL qualifier.

 

He starts good, then the defenders know what he's doing. End.

 

Started well, then fell flat. Tried hard and did bring a bit of badly-needed impetus tbf, but he’s just not good enough for what we need (and he’s not alone in that!).

 

Showed what a bit of positivity can do.
If our midfield and forwards had same attitude, we win that game tonight.

 

Was having an impact on the left..moved him to the right

 

It’s a sad state of affairs that we have to turn to him to change a game for us. Which he’s never done before btw. Bar a 5 min spell he was awful.

 

Mental on here. The only player who tried to do anything positive, created our only decent chance of the night, tried more to open them up in 45 mins than any other attacking player did in the match but was still * and not good enough.

 

I think he would genuinely be more effective if he had a lot more teammates showing for the ball and making some good off-ball movement.

He creates some space to do something and sees absolutely nobody showing.

Will credit him for constantly trying last night. We know he's not a Jota or an on-form Kuhn. But honestly even those two would've struggled last night.

 

Disagree with your last point mate. Jota and kuhn on last night and we bring a strong attacking threat.

Expecting a front three of maeda, idah and an aging forrest to do the business is * in the wind

 

I dunno man. Kuhn had been struggling under the same style of football for months after a purple patch.

Jota MAYBE could've lit the place up a touch more but he was hardly class before his injury.

Don't at all disagree that the front 3 last night was a joke.

 

I would actually keep him, mainly because we have absolutely * all else. But also he does seem to be gradually improving. He may never be good enough for us, but he is certainly effective in certain situations. I would keep him around this season.

 

Only player that no matter what gives 110% when he plays. Hes an adequate squad rotation player, but it’s not his fault at all he’s the man we looked to last night to change the game.
