Can we just dump this thread in ex-players and call it manifesting?

 

He’s gotten so much worse. * knows what happened. I’m not saying he was ever world class but he was a competent player at one time.

His head looks completely gone. Rodgers needs to stop playing him. I know he has very few options but it’s time to use those options now. Go with Maeda through the middle and give us a chance at least.

 

At this stage, I would take £900,000…

 

Confidence is absolutely shot. Keep him on the bench for a bit for everyone's good with Maeda at 9 and get minutes in Shin to at least see what he's like.

 

He's still not suited whatsoever to playing with his back to goal imo yet we keep playing in to him to hold up

 

Take whatever we get and run, maybe a swap deal or whatever but he's not a Celtic class player I'm sorry to say

Really finding it hard to find any positives with Idah atm. Was at the game live & his touch was shocking. Doesn't have the IQ unfortunately to be our main striker. And I'm one for giving a player a fair chance but for me I'm losing patience with Idah.

This might be the worst signing pound for pound I’ve ever seen.

We laughed at them paying £12million for Tore Andre Flo, but Flo is probably still better than Idah now.

 

I think the Idah as first choice striker experiment is officially over. We’re not gonna get anywhere near what we paid for him and he’s unlikely to be leaving for that reason, but please get somebody capable in of a level comparable to Kyogo. Until that time and considering our ridiculous lack of options on the wing, I’d be starting Maeda up top, Nygren on the right and I guess Yang (* help us) on the left.

Forrest is better making an impact off the bench anyhow. And Idah can still contribute as an impact sub against tired domestic defences like he did last season, but please not from the start of matches.

 

He's no suited to his front to goal either. He's always nowhere near when the balls fizzed in..

 

fair point. I just think back to when he was showing any sort of promise and there was never really any game where he was played as the target man type

 

I can't even be mad at him. He was brought in as a second choice striker to give us an option off the bench.

The board made an * of it and overpaid for him, then sold our first choice striker to balance the books.

This is 100% Lawwell's fault.

 

I do think he's * but in fairness Brendans system also made Kyogo look poor. The service he's getting is non existent and Maeda didnt look any better.

 

I keep coming back to this. Been Rodgers responsibility to address this for best part of a season and not come close.

Rarely do we have more than one of our midfielders playing well and positively never mind all 3.
