If he went tonight it wouldnt bother me tbh.

He's not fully to blame...but his signings are woeful and helped the board not to back him.

Subs...Tactics where borderline Sabotage tonight....Fans paid for that ffs.

That's why i wanted him to go on last day of season....he was committed for another couple of years.....So would the board trust him with £25 million again after Engels and Idah?

Most managers 3rd seasons are *....We needed a refresh this season....Or Rodgers to state he was here for another year or 2 to help build a CL team and move forward.

The board have * all of us including Rodgers....But that was also bad management tonight

The signing and not wanting to back him argument just doesn't fit though.

The club sign predominantly 90% of the signings anyway, so why would this being his last season have any impact on the club making club type signings?
We still need two wingers regardless if this is Rodgers last season or not. So why haven't they just signed two wingers they deem acceptable?

Also wanting him to sign a years extension or two surely only delays that supposed issue of not backing him til next summer?

It’s not an excuse. The ones using it as excuse are the issue. Wake * up. We have zero wide options. We’ve sold Kuhn and not replaced him. We are relying on Forrest and Yang. It’s a * disgrace.

I know its a * disgrace and im with u on all of that....Im saying the board tory * have an excuse....They state if we gave him another £20 million how we know he wouldnt buy another Engels and Idah.

its 2025 and we ran into a CL Qualifier with Forrest/Ralston/Scales and Yang.

On top of that....A useless Striker and Engels.

A Captain that did * all all night.

A manager on the sidelines in rage mode.

What was he supposed to do? He has Yang, Forrest and Maeda as his only wingers. Yamada is * so I don't think starting him would be better.

As diplomatic, but clear as * as he can be.

Tried passing it off jokingly with the sack the board question, but for me it's clear he's on the fans side. He's caught in the middle of it all.

    Rodgers is not the issue

I think we hit a sweet for 3 months last season where things had clicked with the team. Combination of players coming into form and feeling comfortable in with Rodgers approach.

The League Cup final where we scraped past a struggling Rangers side was something of a turning point. From then on we barely have strung 2 good performances in a row together. There have been some moments like Bayern away. But a long list of mediocre to poor displays.

Embarrased home and away by Barry and Billys Rangers. Spluttering over the line finsihing wiith a last gasp draw at home to Mirren. And squandering a treble.

I think the team has continued on from them - we can now add Kairat Almaty at hone as another awful display to European minnows.

The football we play now is over-prescribed and predictable. The tempo we move the ball at is too slow. There is relentless obsession with moving the ball out wide whether it makes sense to do so or not. you need to move the ball fast with crisp passing and good movement to make that effective. We are doing it robotically at walking pace. Our midfields movement is poor, because they know all thats being asked of them if to shuffle the ball out wide. Most of the time they arent even looking at what else is on or trying to make a run.

And then on top of that our front 3 just arent showing enough quality. Maeda was fantastic for most of last year but he looked a bit of a shell so far this season.

The good news is that Rangers appear to be even worse (again) so we will (probably) win the league.

I think the team may need an overhaul now after this season. Whether Rodgers is the right fit for that - Im not sure now. Recruitment under him irrespective of whos to blame just doesnt seem to be functioning. His tactics and approach look like they need to be refreshed as well. Players seem to regressing all over the place in the team.

Rodgers didn’t pay the fee for Engels and Idah. So the £20m argument is irrelevant. Waiting until the final day of the window is on the board and that’s why we’ve paid as much. We have no options. Rodgers has said it for weeks. Our fans have said it for weeks if not months.

I agree to an extent with the criticism aimed at him. But see when we have a throw and Yang is walking away with his back to the play, and Scales and CCV play passy with each other because no * is showing for it that isn't on Rodgers.

Can blame BR for as far as starting Idah. But other than that he should walk tomorrow and do himself a favour

Scatter gun is oot, it's understandable but Rodgers shouldn't be the main target, the custodians of our club are responsible and should be held accountable for gross negligence, it's totally unacceptable.

I wish he’d stop trying to be diplomatic and just say what he thinks. * call the board out.
