Only time he kept the ball first half was when his first touch got away from him and he slipped and won it back. Offers absolutely * nothing.

 

He has to go down as one of our worst big money signings.

We'd struggle to get half of what we paid for him.

Get him to *. Useless and a total * waste of 9m quid. We’re now stuck with him as there’s no chance we’ll even get half of that back and will probably end up loaning him out until we find someone daft enough to take him off our hands.

 

His lack of movement and desire to get into good positions is none existent, and he rarely holds the ball up and brngs other players into a move to create momentum always just knocks it back to midfield, unfortunately he doesn't look like he will improve.

 

A big lummox who can’t play a fairly simple role. Not an intelligent player whatsoever. Being hooked at HT says a lot. He’s done or very close to it.

Its like volunteering to play with 10 men for the first half every game. He needs dropped and we need a next best option to get a run. Whatever it is (Nygren wide and Maeda up front would be my starter for 10), or just giving Shin a run or even Kenny, I think Idah is done. His price tag is literally the only thing keeping him anywhere near the squad nevermind first 11.

I want better up front but this hate-in for the guy is pointless. It's not on him that the board have sabotaged the playing squad and it's BR who picks him to play. Kenny and Yamada are worse yet get nothing like the abuse Idah does. We all have players we don't rate or like but this thread is becoming something like journal of abuse for the guy. I'd like to think our supporters are better than that.
