Unless there's a big change in attitude, desire and ability then we'll be adding Kairat Almaty to the likes of Maribor and Cluj on the list of mediocre teams who've put us out of the CL qualifiers. No positives at all and numerous negatives. The board unquestionably bare a lot of blame for the dismal TW we've had but those players need a serious kick up the a**e because that is unacceptable.

 

From a financial point of view it's pure incompetence having this team going into a cl qualifier against a team like kairat when there is 40 odd million up for grabs..

A quarter of the way through the tie and you’ve got to say based on what we’ve seen so far and what we’ve got coming we’ll be going out.

They’re well drilled and we look slow and unfit. No surprise a hammy is away.

It’s a big 45 minutes now. Idah has to come off and Maeda needs to go through the middle. I’d bring McCowan on and put Forrest on the left, see if we can work some possession and chances for Maeda, then switch it up again with Yamada and Yang.

But this really is * dire. Outstanding arrogance from the board, who must surely be * themselves watching that knowing there is a good chance they’ve blown a fortune for this club.

 

Ultimately a midfielder who hasn't lit it up so far and a winger who is hot and cold at best aren't quality options. And they're the best we've got FFS!

Cannot believe what am watching here. Looks to me like Kairat have studied some of the hun games from last season and decided to press fucknout us knowing we'll absolutely crumble.

Not one single pass mark there, maybe ccv and aj before he went off. The rest have been * scandalous.
