    “It has been negotiated that Rapid will buy Tilio immediately on terms favourable to Rapid” is quite the contradiction. Buying Tilio surely can’t ever be favourable.

    SK Rapid is about to sign Marco Tilio. According to Sky information, the Hütteldorfers and Celtic Glasgow have agreed on a fixed transfer of the Australian.


    Originally, a loan of 350,000 pounds with subsequent purchase obligation was agreed, now 1.3 million pounds (around 1.5 million euros) flow directly. Background: Celtic is only allowed to lend six players abroad and would like to use the remaining seats elsewhere. In Hütteldorf, the Australian is to receive a contract until 2029.

    According to Sky-Infos, the winger is supposed to land in Austria today to complete his medical check and sign his contract with the Hütteldorfers. The 23-year-old right-winger is considered a fast, technically strong offensive man and is supposed to revive Rapid's attack.

    Bizarre move that he is essentially replacing the guy who replaced Kuhn for them who was seemingly really good also.

    Would be like us selling Sinclair, signing Jota to replace him then selling Jota and signing Martin Boyle.

    Glad they did not give up on this deal in the end. I don’t understand why we delayed this sale tbh, he wasn’t even in the CL squad list and did not even make the bench for Falkirk. Most likely Brendan trying to make a statement to the board. Whole things looks very amateurish.
