Does look technically really nice from watching the highlights of games this season. Quite a slow relaxed style about him when on the ball but I did notice he runs a lot off the ball, like when his team is attacking he runs to support or when they are defending you see him running at pace to go back, but on the ball every clip he had the ball has more of a Paddy McCourt or like Hatate vibe of swanning about, never seen him running on the ball.

His teams number 7 actually looked a handful more in the winger style way, where he was fast and powerful and was running at * a lot and beating people.

He is a bit more playmakery than I thought, he never played on the wing in any of the games this season so he never had any clips out wide, they were all the middle where he seemed to be playing more as a 10, like when they defended he stayed higher and when they attacked he stayed kind of deeper behind 3/4 guys who went further ahead.

Be interesting if we sign him and do play him on the wing. Means we'd have signed Nygren who played on the right and played him in midfield and then this guy we'd be playing wide when he played in midfield.

 

No being funny mate but is this supposed to be his best bits? Jeez

 

As i said it before, my main worry is not him having the quality. He certainly has but his injury record… if he stays fit, we have a decent player who will get his goals.

 

He just looks *. Doesn't give you good vibes or excitement whatsoever when watching his videos.

Before we signed Bernardo I thought he looked bang average, proven right. Same for Idah, Engels etc.

Since Rodgers returned I can barely remember a time I've felt excited about a player we were seriously linked with. Nygren is only the one really I've felt positive about over numerous windows. The rest just look poor/mediocre.. And we always end up getting the worst looking targets.

It also seems like we don't have a range of targets. Linked with the same guys over and over again across multiple windows.

That's because his only real video highlights is based on a few games in the CL and a few underage internationals. It doesn't show all his goals, assists, dribbles or passes or crosses he completed domestically.

If this move is a runner, then then there will be a video instantly dropped as usually happens and he will look a completely different player than the one based on the limited highlights.

The guy who tweeted that its been agreed is the same guy who tweeted 6 weeks ago that Rangers and Lille had agreed a €15m deal for Igamane and the deal would be completed shortly. He's a bit of a bluffer.

Celtic are continuing their pursuit to sign Royal Antwerp attacker Michel-Ange Balikwisha this summer.


The Celtic Way understands that the clubs have now agreed a fee of £4.5m for his transfer.

Personal terms are not believed to be an issue between Balikwisha and his potential new employers.

However, there are concerns that a medical may not be straightforward. The former Belgium U21 international suffered from muscle injury issues that kept him out of large portions of last season.

Earlier on Wednesday, reports in Belgium suggested that an agreement in principle was in place for the 24-year-old winger to move to Glasgow, though 'internal issues' were holding up the deal and a potential medical, which the Scottish club had booked.


A longtime target of Brendan Rodgers' side, Balikwisha has played four games for Antwerp so far this campaign, scoring one goal.

Since his arrival from fellow Belgian side Standard Liege, the versatile player has scored 30 goals in 145 total appearances, as well as contributing 17 assists in all competitions.
