Bring him home. Just get the deal done, he's a good player.

Balikwisha-Maeda-Nygren looks so much better than Maeda-Idah-Yang/Forrest dosnt it.

After new year Jota-Maeda-Balikwisha with Nygren starting in midfield/rotating rw.

Will give him a chance, more the fact the facade has rolled on for so long that has made it frustrating and everyone including myself poking holes in the deal and player.

If we wanted him then should of been wrapped up months ago.

I think its just fatigue from this window for a lot of people tbh.

Not saying everyone that's against him has never seen him play, but its the same in the Vardy thread, people focusing on his wife of all things.

Bringing in Vardy and Balikwisha would instantly improve our attack 10 fold, bring a RW on top of that and we're instantly a lot healthier.

At the same time, if Balikwisha is who we really wanted, he's honestly someone I think we could have got back in June. Does reek of us missing out on multiple targets.

He had a MOTM performance with a goal vs Club Brugge in the Belgian Play offs. That's good enough for me considering Antwerp are not as potent in attack as us & tend to set up defence.

We've been linked with him since last summer that doesn't equate to someone low down in our list of targets

I've been a bit moany on him for a while now, but to be fair it's all based on YT vids. @ILoveTheCeltic did a good breakdown of his stats a wee while back which got me onside. I'd be happy enough with him and Stengs on a loan-to-buy.

    Agree with all this.

Stengs, Balikwisha and Breum with Vardy would do, now. Then if we really are still struggling on a younger striker give Idah till January and see where Munteanu is at or someone else.

I just don't like the look of him at all..

Doesn't look good at beating a man
    Crossing looks pish
    Injury prone

Orjasaeter just looked better for the low blocks particularly..

I get what you are saying but Antman looked good from clips as well, and he is hilariously bad

Unless it has been something on his side slowing it up? Bonuses, loyalty bonuses yada yada... when it comes to money due, people are stubborn. So I'm not judging, I wait for my 1p change :56:

I get Sinclair vibes from what I've seen if I'm honest. Don't think he will be bought for his crossing ability, more the link up and finishing inside the box, playing almost as an inside forward. Probably suits Tierney.

I posted the stuff i didn't like about Antman before he'd played for them..

Said he didn't look particularly rapid but fairly quick in his clips
    Poor at beating a man

The exact kinda winger I wouldn't want here whatsoever. Don't think he's all that at all..

Thats what I think may be interesting about him, he defends really well and seems is good creatively.

But Antwerp are more of a defensive, counter-attacking team, last season they averaged 44% possession so they are rarely on the ball or on the attack. Could be he is quite creative but in their team is more limited.

I don't think he even really is a winger, this season for example he's played every game in midfield.

He seems more of a passer of the ball and finisher and someone who presses well and defends really solidly.

Not really a dribbler or anything who is playing down the wings but he does play for a team who aren't that attacking, probably like the Belgian equivalent of St Mirren or Kilmarnock.

Bit worrying then. I noticed a lot of space he was getting in clips before and he won't get that here..

Doesn't seem to have much to get by or away from players so will likely be robbed of the ball a lot against low blocks..

That's why we should get Stengs in for the creativity element of attack in with Balikwisha. Modern day football good teams defend from attack to defence now. I have a feeling Balikwisha will be effective away from home especially in Europe when we have counter/transitional moments. He looks to be clinical & is an effective crosser of the ball aswell.
