Daft as it sounds, he doesn't really look like a striker to me.

He's far too often out on the wings or in the 10 position when we need him in the box, he's never where we need him to be. His positioning is honestly the worst I've seen from a starting striker for us.

 

Someone on here was saying his movement is incredible.

Didn't he play quite often on the left for Norwich or drift there?

 

Aye theres times when hes came short and then the ball goes wide, you'd then expect a striker to be busting a gut to get into the box to get the goal but he doesn't shiw that kind of desire enough.

 

Aye, he's far too often outside the box or on the wings, there was a moment previously where he was essentially playing LW and crossed it into the box.

Definitely rings a bell, I think he could maybe work in a two striker formation, but he's never a lone striker.

 

This is his very very very last chance with me . Prove me wrong Adam.

 

Even if he scored a hat trick tomorrow you still wouldn't really expect him to go on an extended run of great form, he's had individual good games and scored some important goals but he never carries it forward or ever looks like he's got it in him to do it week in week out.

 

He'll get plenty of chances

 

Two or three goals tonight and he's repaid the fee. But will he do it ?

There's some evidence to say that he can do it, but very little to be confident that he will.

 

I'm getting behind him for the last time in this game . I just want him to show participation in all the game . Don't want him in our defensive area at all,be just at half way line then be able to pick up the ball and get to their box. He must come good tonight for me or he should just feckin go. He is so frustrating with his poor touches in the box. PROVE ME WRONG TONIGHT ADAM AND I WILL SERIOUSLY APOLOGISE.

If we serve him 10 chances as per usual, and he ends up being the usual pub level striker, it's no turning back.

That will be that. He simply have to perform tonight.

 

Really is a huge game for him tonight, assuming he starts. If he wastes several chances then he will deservedly come in for a lot of stick. I think many have been too quick to get on his back but his start to this season has been underwhelming.

Few goals and hopefully a boost in confidence for him. If he is a passenger again then he needs dropped for the weekend.

 

Can't remember him getting 10 chances in any of our recent games.

 

Not really getting folk saying tonight is last chance, we are playing a low ranked team for Kazakhstan, he should be scoring for fun against teams like this. Says it all when we are demanding a big performance from him, I’d have Maeda up top and Yang out wide before starting this donkey.

 

You are correct tbf. He have walked around out of position doing * all with the chances created in the box.

 

For good or for bad, Idah is our first choice striker for this season.
We need to suck it up.
Unless of course there is transfer window miracle....

 

trying to be optimistic. Think he scores tonight but yeah as others have said we can't always be sitting around waiting for him to try and be consistent. Hope he kicks on as the talent is there.

 

Needs a big performance tonight. Pretty certain he will start, he has to show much more than he has been.
