Vardy seems to still have his pace and sharpness even at his age.

I'm not for a minute saying prime Vardy gets near prime Ronaldo, but Ronaldo has nae legs anymore. Should've called it time 2 years ago.

 

So the recruitment team have had since January after we sold kyogo to find us a striker and this is it well I would * sack the head of recruitment if this goes through and didn't think the transfer window couldn't get any more depressing.

The player pushing won’t be out if the blue. He must have had a conversation with Rodgers for that to happen. Why would Vardy randomly push for a Celtic move with absolutely no mutual interest.

 

If we had a settled striker and an actual good transfer window I'd actually would'nt mind this. Veteran striker, played at a high level think he'd been a decent wee pick up. But we don't.

I'd take him for his experience alone. He is a tried and tested EPL winner and would score for fun up here.

 

Yeah I’ve seen Ronaldo play and continue to score haha. Hes also an absolute specimen physically too, that’s the one thing Ronaldo has always had above any player in world football

Vardy last season wasn’t great and if you look who he scored against he scored against the worst teams in the league.

vardy at no stage in his career has ever been better than Ronaldo or for that fact been anywhere close.
