Goalkeepers: Kasper Schmeichel, Viljami Sinisalo, Ross Doohan.

Defenders: Alistair Johnston, Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, Liam Scales, Auston Trusty, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Dane Murray, Anthony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, Kieran Tierney.

Midfielders: Reo Hatate, Luke McCowan, Arne Engels, Paulo Bernardo, Callum McGregor, Benjamin Nygren.

Attackers: Yang Hyun-jun, James Forrest, Daizen Maeda, Johnny Kenny, Callum Osmand, Adam Idah, Shin Yamada.

There's no place for summer signing Hayato Inamura who, while featuring in pre-season matches, hasn't been included in recent match squads against St Mirren and Aberdeen.

It appears that Liam Scales will be the primary cover for Kieran Tierney. The Irishman has featured on the left flank when Tierney has been substituted recently, with Auston Trusty coming on to fill in at centre-back.

Celtic have until 11pm on Tuesday night to register a further two players for the squad, though will need to take one of the current picks off the list for each added.

Kairat have already beaten the Slovenian, Finnish and Slovakian champions in qualifying but head to Glasgow for their toughest test so far next week.

The Scottish champions take on their Kazakh counterparts on Wednesday night at Celtic Parkbefore making the mammoth trip to Central Asia to play the second leg in Almaty.

  5. Didn't even notice... Mind you, besides ourselves, I barely watch European football now unless I'm somewhere that it's on... Eufa managed to sour it for me with their constant gerrymandering to the rich clubs... The new cl format was the first thing to reignite my interest in years...

We can add/swap two players by Monday though. Not sure we will add any, but we might. If we did I'd imagine Osmond and Yamada lose their places.

Surely take Kenny out before Yamada.

I would but Kenny seems to be getting game time.

  9. Just seen Almaty are the lowest ranked team left co-efficent wise in the qualifying section

Going 1 of two ways isn't it either through comfortably or up there with red imps...

  16. If Rodgers and this current team as it stands gets put out by this utter * over 2 legs then no one deserves to be at this club.

The * with the board is a * disgrace and all should be chased....But this team over 180 mins should be dealt with no problem.

If not.....Get the * lot of them to * because there is no excuse for that.

  17. Thursday nights and the * europa league anthem. Fixtures bumped to Sundays.

All because the board are hoarding cash.

    What a club

  18. Anyone know off the top of their head the last time we won an away tie in Europe?

Trying to think on the way home and genuinely can't remember. Doesn't fill me with confidence for next week

  19. Champions league or qualifier? Anderlecht maybe?
