I always laugh at these type of rumours as anyone saying it never has a name.

Yet we know the price and that the bid has been rejected.

I would be very Celtic to bid as high as £10 million yet we're still vastly under bidding :56:

Thought it could be Munteanu. But they won't get 20m for him.

    It'll be a lot of * anyway.

What percentage of Grealish's wages did we offer ? It'll be that plus an offensively low buying clause

I think it is a CDM we may have bid £10M for, rather than BTL.

And we may go back in for him, up the ante just a little bit more.

Tbf that rumour could be true. This isn’t even supposed to be a joke but we do genuinely always offer half their clubs valuation of a player. No doubt we’ve done the same at £10 mil and they leave for £20 mil.

Doak looks like to be going for £25 mil, there's a chance we could have stuck in a 10 mil bid earlier in the week (or a loan to buy)

That's a very unceltic thing to do. I don't think there's any universe where we spend big money (for us) on a player we lost for pennies only a couple of seasons ago.

Imagine the heart attack pistol Pete would have.

Possibly McAtee? An extreme lowball offer if it is :giggle1:

Has there been any examples on a messageboard ITK breaking a genuine transfer story this season? It's usually very vague comments that they hope something might happen and they can then claim credit for.

As far as our transfers go, Friel broke Nygren and Yamada stories, McGowan the Inamura and Mark Hendry the JSP and Osmand deals. Not on any other Celtic forums but I generally put the whole thing down to attention seeking. Rumours after the fact like that one above are complete tripe as well.

It looks obvious we've halted our activity for the past 5-6 weeks until probably next Wednesday and see how the 1st leg goes for us.
