Was hoping we would get a percentage of that but * it would just be more for the pile not to spend

He only has a year left on his deal and not sure if there’s an option on the table to extend that. He could agree an additional year deal, we could loan him with an option of £14m and buy him next season.

Would definitely take as a loan with an option to buy. Homegrown player too.

No chance mind, he'll go to a high end championship/ relegation prem team for 20+ mil

Would take him but there's probably some lower end prem teams that would as well, you'd think Liverpool would see that as a better option for his development week in week out or shop windowing him than spl and a handful of european games.

They’ve rejected £20m bids for him. They’re not going to let him leave on a free :giggle1:

He’s isn’t linked it’s Didi Hamann Hamann suggesting him

Liverpool wonderkid Ben Doak has been told he would be a regular starter for Celtic if he made a blockbuster return to the club this summer

The Scotland international is at a career crossroads after returning from a thigh injury that ruled him out for an extended period and cut his loan spell at Middlesborough short last season.

The 19-year-old is highly-rated by the Premier League champions - who have previously knocked back £20million bids for the winger.

Another loan exit could be on the cards this summer to allow him to ramp up his game time away from Anfield - while Premier League sides Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Everton also said to be pushing for a permanent deal.

The Mirror report that boss Arne Slot would prefer Doak to leave on loan, and former Reds' star Didi Hamann reckons that a temporary switch to the Hoops - who he left in 2022 - could give the forward something vital for his career.

Speaking to CasinoHawks, who have the latest casino sites, Hamann said: "Ben Doak’s future depends on what Liverpool are planning for him because at his age, he needs to be playing

If he goes to Celtic, I think he's pretty sure to probably start because Nicolas Kuhn went to Como. I think Celtic is a fantastic club."

The Times report that Leeds - who are owned by 49ers Enterprises alongside Celtic's rivals Rangers - are among the club's eyeing a loan switch and have already expressed an interest in Doak.

And Hamann reckons that a switch to Elland Road could be more beneficial than the prospect of Champions League football in Glasgow's east end.

He went on: "In terms of progression as a player, the Premier League is probably the better place because he will get tested every week, more than he does in the Scottish league.

"If Leeds really see him as one of the first 13 or 14 players, if he doesn't start, then he's one at least of the first ones to come on, then as a player, I would probably lean towards Leeds."

I always thought he was a bit like Frimpong, quick, good dribbler, can beat men easy on the inside and outside. Would be good for us just running at teams like Yang with more power and purpose about him.

Would be ideal to cover us until Jota is back.

Had a very good loan at Boro last season.

I would have him back in a heartbeat even if it’s a loan, we are too late in the window now and he’s quality and would be great on the right.

    Bring. Him. Home.

Be surprised if he signs another contract with Liverpool so most likely they’ll cash in on him. No chance they send him on loan without a new contract.

If he’s got a year left it’s up to the player whether he goes for free or not is my point some one above said he’s contract up on a year

Ovb if it’s a loan liverpool will be looking for a loan fee because the possibilty of leaving on a free after the loan

We should inquire about a loan, absolutely.
