The best back 4 we've had in years is AJ - CCV - Trusty - KT.
I'd be more than happy with that this season - although Brendan clearly doesn't like Trusty for some mysterious reason.

The weaknesses in our team lie elsewhere, starting with defensive midfield and whole front 3.

 

His best games have came in the CL, which is where interested teams would be looking at him.

When I say profit, I mean a £1 million - £3 Million profit, wouldn't be a massive one but its not like Idah where we will certainly make a big loss.

 

Still don’t think we’ll get more than the £6mil we paid for him bud. Well run teams do their research too so won’t just look at the CL games. They’ll look how he’s done domestically. Hes been good for us but he’s definitely at his value….. which I think just shows how hard it’ll be to replace him adequately and instantly.

you just know the club will take that £6 mil we get and spend £2 mil on a project to replace him.

 

Think you’ve definitely hit the spot there. in that theres something Rodgers doesn’t trust him to be starting every game. Which he evidently has in scales.

 

The most athletic and complete as a quartet on paper for a long long time..

All of them have shown they can compete and flourish at the very highest level..

 

I dont dislike him at all but if Rodgers doesnt fancy him then might as well get our money back. Think plenty have needed time to adjust to the hammer throwers up here.
