Considering how bad Celtic start under first season with Rodgers after starfelt was sold tells me how much a better player starfelt was to scales

That start was so bad that rangers under clement managed to be top for a couple of weeks mid season

Also starfelt being sold and persevering with Rodgers Nat Phillips suggestion cost us the league cup

Was this when he had a defensive crisis and we turned up to Ibrox and came away with a 1-0 win and a Scales MOTM display.

You keep handing me own goals.

I notice you completely ignored the extensive compilation of Starfelt fuckups. That display in the league cup final against Hibs is up there with the worst I've ever seen from a Celtic semi final. In a 5 minute highlight package, there are 3 car crash moments, 1 which cost us a goal, the other which Hart needed to make a big save from and the final one where we should have conceded a penalty. Scales has never turned in a disaster of a performance like that for us but ignore it all you want.

Ignore the one he hacked into his own net against AZ. Ignore the one where he tripped over the ball v Ferencvaros and all the other clangers along with it.

No he wasn't. He was underrated. Too many couldn't let go a couple of mistakes early in his tenure go. His partnership with Carter-Vickers was the best we've had since the MON team.

Nat Phillips was pish but blaming him for games he didn't play in is a bit of a stretch

It's not even a contest. Starfelt and CCV is the best partnership we've had since Van Dijk and Denayer.

By no means perfect, but a level above Scales. Much faster and a better box defender. On the ball he wasn't perfect, but using those clips as a "gotcha" is hilarious. I'm sure any one of us could find just as many, if not more, clips of Scales doing the same thing. We're just not as sad as you to waste our time doing it.

Actually just read that we never lost a league game when the two of them started. 48 matches with 41 wins and 7 draws. Give those two every day of the week over Scales and CCV.

Also, anyone basing their entire footballing opinions off stats quite clearly doesn't understand football better than anyone. Sort of pish I'd expect from ChatGPT.

I actually don’t mind Scales, but I’m not having for a second that he is better than Starfelt.

Well it is a contest, whether you like it or not. CCV and Scales have been a great partnership too.
Starfelt has had his ups and downs too. Remember his monumental * ups at Ibrox and Tynecastle ?.
It's not as clearcut as you are trying to make out.

Starfelt couldn't way to jump ship from Celtic at the end too. Badge Kisser.
Scales would never jump ship from Celtic, true Celtic man.

So great that people have been clamouring for an upgrade on Scales for a couple of years. Starfelt had poor games, aye. Scales has had plenty. What's your point?

Both at their best, Starfelt is another level above.

Scales would never jump ship because nobody * wants him. Starfelt got a move to a top 5 European league. Best Scales would get is West Brom or QPR.

If he does go, I think we'd have no issue getting the £6 million back, infact I think we could make a profit.

We 100% need another CB if he does go, even if you rate Scales going into the season with CCV, Scales, Pusey and Murray isnt good enough (Assuming Welsh leaves)

We won’t make a profit on him. We already bought him at his value (as you have to buying in the English market)
