If we dont sign players then yes. We are relaying on midfielders to score goals

If we fall into the Europa League and lose £40 million I'm wanting heads to roll on the board and unacceptable.

But it won't mate. Its going to be * toxic the fallout from it and the board deserve every bit of heat coming their way but it will amount to * all as they know "there is plenty on the waiting list"

Well they better get the fences up and have a few German shepherds behind them as it going to get heated and toxic and these * deserve all what's coming to them and directors box will probably have a few security people around it if we start to lose a few games .

Yup, sometimes you wonder if we put more money into our "Rangers scouts" than our actual scouts. They seem to predict those * to a 100% perfect rate.

We've definitely made the playoff an unnecessary gamble.. it's a favorable draw, we should make it through but there definitely be some nervy moments..

I'm certainly not folding and resigning myself to the Europa.

Domestically we'll be fine, for now.. but they will eventually get it right at some point and it will eventually bite us. Unless we change.

This is the point I think is indefensible, this is the best chance we will have of 4 seasons of group/league phase CL football and the financial reward that comes with that in the previous 3 years is a big reason why we have such a cash surplus. Go and give yourself the absolute best chance of achieving that again this year and we have if anything done the opposite.

Our qualifier is a week tomorrow, so the chances of anyone coming in and having an impact in that tie now unless they are a proper player is minimal.

We probably will get about that in..

Shouldn't be the case that we're playing with champions league qualification (lucky we have a favourable draw) and players settling in a month in to the season though..

We'll see if we're pleasantly surprised or whether we're scraping about for players down the list or loans..

We'll deffo get wingers, a left back and probably a striker in at the very least though. They better be real quality..

A dont need a reason to be seething but this window has left me exhausted with the board. Aye no amount of moaning will change things but if we dont all vent a think some of us could combust!

    My stage has reached apathy.

Shrug my shoulders and continue to be scunnered. Still checking this forum more out of hope than expectation but I'm a dafty for that as well.

4 or 5 just feels really really optimistic at this point. Would be pleasantly surprised but even then would be asking why some of those 4 or 5 couldn’t have been brought in before the qualifier.

    See what happens.

It's only Football Insider but they had "up to 4" this morning. Up to is our best case scenario. There are no concrete links to date, we are notoriously slow to conclude deals. I would guess that if we do manage to get 4 then 2 of those will be loans on Deadline Day.

Tilio, Welsh and Kenny or Osmand out on loan?

Mate football insider and that clown Pete O'Rouke are the worst going. Last year they had huns paying £15m for sima, celtic not paying for idah and we signed him 2 hours later and they took the article down.

Take anything they say with less than a pinch of salt!

I think we are m8. You'd think we would have learned over the years. Our cup isn't even half empty - it's bone fecking dry

Celtic will bring in up to four new signings before the end of the window if they qualify for the Champions League group phase, sources have told Football Insider.

Brendan Rodgers has already voiced his concerns about the lack of business so far for the reigning Scottish Premiership champions.

The Hoops have made six signings so far this summer, but have spent less than £5million in total.

Sources say that Celtic will have a busy end to the window if they reach the league stages of the Champions League, but are likely to see less activity if they are knocked out

Celtic only have to get through the final round of Champions League qualifying in order to make it to the main phase of the competition.

Rodgers’ side will take on the winners of Slovan Bratislava or Kazakh side FC Kairat, in a matchup where they will be strong favourites to advance.

So far this season, Celtic have won two out of two games in the Scottish Premiership, as they aim to win their fifth title in a row.

The Glasgow giants scraped a 1-0 win over St Mirren on opening weekend, before cruising to a 2-0 victory over Aberdeen.

Celtic supporters will hope their side can take their domestic form into their European qualifiers.

I'm always a bit sceptical about what to expect from us, try and remain balanced and give the board/club the benefit of the doubt but it's groundhog day now. Clearly we are operating in a haphazard and scattergun way with no coherent strategy or plan, key figures singing from different hymn sheets and a refusal or inability to implement positive change.

It's all very frustrating and I can't be arsed getting annoyed now.

Us older fans remember the slagging we got from everyone and the "biscuit tin" comments fired at us - especially from the huns. It hurt back then and, even though we have millions in the bank, this board has the exact same mentality.
