I woke up this morning to see a story doing the rounds on Celtic twitter and several other social media claiming that a “trusted source in Japan” alleges that Daizen Maeda is about to leave Celtic and Taisei Miyashiro is being lined up as his replacement.

Unfortunately, this is yet another case of mistranslation, misunderstanding, and in some case, sensationalist lying."

He looks really good. Kinda has a bit of Mitoma about him with his ball carrying..

 

He reminded me of Mitoma too but without that extra yard or two of pace Mitoma has.

 

It’s obvious the whole thing is pish. Some people on twitter and here are the ones that fall for “You’ve won an iPhone! Click Here.” scams on the internet.

The article is claiming we are getting ready for life after Maeda but there’s no suggestion he’s leaving. It’s an assumption that he will. We are then given a suggestion of who the replacement could be. There’s * all to it.

 

Where is the Maeda wanting away come from anyone actually hear him say that or just speculation?

 

Presumably it stems from being unable to tie him down on an extended deal yet?

 

Don't think there's been any proper links yet, but after the season he's had I'd be surprised if he doesn't get some offers before the window shuts, and he hasn't signed a new deal.

 

Sign anyone....* anyone that can replace Idah

Nope.....nothing. Very much is the speculation and conjecture category but the contract issue would be a genuine worry. He would be in the final 12 months of his contract at the start of next season so its very important we tie him down.
