Clearly not good enough

 

He should start against Falkirk in the cup.

Weird omitting him twice now, had a good pre season so deserved to be on the bench at least, if we're going to use Scales at LB then just loan him out.

 

Then why is he here?

 

Who do you leave out? Simple fact is Trusty and Ralston are ahead of him and we are not gonna have a 3rd of our bench filled with defenders.

He's the back up left back so he'll get games and likely will play the next 2.

 

There's no need to have Bernardo on the bench, hes not getting used and Nygren, Hatate, Engels and McCowan are all ahead of him.

 

Bernardo is there of McGregor gets injured or if we are comfortable ahead and can take McGregor off. He's only natural replacement for McGregor.

We have others who can cover left back.

We don't ever need 3 defenders on the bench. It's far too negative

Also in terms of experience and status in the squad i think having Bernardo sitting in the stand would be more of an issue.

People seem intent on building Inamura up to be more than he is.

He'll get games so it's a non issue tbh

 

I think he needs to be on the bench unless Rodgers is very confident hes not up it.

It looks like if KT is rested or not fit it will be Scales stepping in. I dont see Inamura starting a game in from the cold.

You get a game like today where Scales is on a yellow and not really having a good game - its risky not having him on the bench.

We probably dont need 3 CMs and 2 forwards on the bench. So 1 of Kenny, Yamada or Bernardo would sit it out for me.

Get him out on loan if he’s not even going to sit on the bench.

It would criminal to let him rot.

 

Going by his interview when he came in doesn’t sound like he’d much choice

 

He'll be loaned out. My guess is Brendan does not think he is up to the physical rigours of the SPL yet after seeing him in training, hence why we are seeing Scales or Trusty there.

 

You ask that like we don’t continually buy pondlife, rarely play them, then loan them, sell them and/or otherwise never see them.

Yet we keep scraping the J-League barrel for non-athletes like this guy and Yuki Kobayashi. I don’t mind the odd clearly exceptional player like Hatate, Maeda, etc - but it’s getting a joke now when we just keep going back to a league that is generally infamous for producing physically weak defenders.

 

Pretty sure he's said that he gives the green light for every transfer. Every top team buys players for the future.

 

He said at last year's AGM that he's the one with the final say on players.
