Osmand. Seems like we signed him without really having a plan for him.

I’m failing to understand the weird timing part in relation to signing Osmand though? We had a striker on the park, 2 on the bench and there’s only 1 spot up for grabs.

What has Kenny done to earn a new deal?
He's 22, not 18 and should be starting to deliver big moments or performances already - which he hasn't.
When you add in Shin and Osmand ('club' signings?), it's even more strange.
Brendan has talked about only needing 3 first team strikers, now theoretically we have 5 - and only one of them is proven to be any good and we play him on the wing.
So we still need another to make 6?

    Truly baffling.

Sorry mate wasn't me who made the original comment so not sure what he meant by it. I can't work out what we're doing though. Surely either Kenny or Osmand are going out on loan. I'm not happy with out striking options at all. Idah is a diddy and the other 3 are completely untested at this level, surely we need to be bringing in another.

I think he will end up away on loan , Rodgers has used the Yang argument of "as it stands he's an important part of the squad ....until the end of the month ".

Pretty sure it's a new deal with a view to getting a decent fee for him once he does well on loan.

There's interest in him , and with a "new deal"(longer contract ) we can negotiate a better fee . This is absolutely with a view to selling him for a few mill imo . Allows us to send him on loan and still get a good fee next year/Jan.We are getting pretty good at these small type of sales, and it's as clear as the nose on my face he's not going to make it here.

Don’t really get this but I suppose we want him on a deal to try and get some money for him when he leaves. He’s never making it here.
