Tbh I said on Saturday they two would be rolled out for this mate. Not even a shock anymore tbh.

 

Good call on Yamada. If we insist on playing that donkey Idah, then we can at least utilise Yamada's pace out wide.

 

A fair and impartial ref will see that's there's no repeat of Robertson's masterclass in the SC final where the sheep were allowed to kick lumps out of us without being booked and also get away with numerous lesser fouls whilst we were penalised for doing very little, and at times nothing, wrong. (Checks officials for Sunday).....merde!!

Yang lacks the in game intelligence, and Forrest can only last thirty minutes these days, and I don't fancy Nygren on the right somehow, think he lacks the pace to be an effective winger in a Celtic team/system.
It would give us a three pronged strikeforce, and suit Brendan's 4-3-3 system if he persists with it.

The Huns are bragging about their front three.
Why not give them something to think about too.?

 

As long as there's been no negativity seeping into the squad with all the madness the past week, we'll skelp these *. Obviously need upgrades going forward but the boys there the now are more than good enough to go on a league run.

No predictions from me, just a hope that the players have knuckled down and done some good work during the week. We'll soon see!

The one consolation going into this weekends game is that Aberdeen have been pretty bad with their transfer window themselves as well especially in attacking areas also. So if we can hopefully be more clinical in the final third then hopefully we have enough on Sunday for what clearly is a tough road trip.

 

Aye clinical is the word, we were anything but last week. For all the doom and gloom aswell, we need to remember we're the champions, and a winning machine domestically. Aberdeens transfer business should not even come into our thinking...if we play well we win simple as that.

Tough opener last week against a solid system. Aye it was frustrating but we're another week in on the training pitch so hoping to see us go up a level.

It is beyond a joke that we go into this game with Yang and Forrest battling it out to start on the right and Idah is our only main striker of any note. That's an outrage.
