Mate, Rodgers was actively laughing at Yang in an open press conference a few months back.

He’s not a serious option, yet he’s starting football games for us.

I actually think Yang is also much more effective on the left wing than the right. He had a decent pre season for us but was back to the Yang that most of us can't ever seeing him make it here on Sunday.

For me, him and Idah will be playing for their Celtic careers in the next 4 and a bit months. If we are relying on them for much longer our season could be over by then.

I've said a LW as well.

Even if we discount the second RW you don't think we need, still at 5 players. Which again, you don't think we need.

Fair enough. Let's see what happens and how this squad manages the games to come.

Well aware of that. And currently neither of our right wing options are up to it over a season.

We don’t have to sign another one…but if we don’t then we deserve everything we get if our first choice winger gets injured or goes off form. Or ends up a dud.

Just compounds the * show operation we run.

Folk sacked for a poor winter window. Orjasaeter left hanging at the airport, Breum offering peanuts when we know the price, Kvistgaarden monitored/scouted for well over a year yet don't find out about a release clause. Ange and Brendan stating the need to make it blatantly clear that more needs done....

Its * hour and the one constant is the * at the top. Disgraceful doesn't even cover it.

Interesting take from GoAhead Eagles chairman

In an interview with Algemeen Dagblad, he said: "There was some interest from Celtic for Jakob Breum, but we felt the gap was too wide.

"Things moved very quickly around Oliver Antman and Glasgow Rangers. Celtic could have taken a leaf out of Rangers' book, haha."

Still seen a few people on Twitter giving it the old “we’ve won x number of titles in x years, the board obviously know what they’re doing” pish.

Some people will just always be total board apologists. * bizarre behaviour.

What the * is going on? There are so many things that could be that is causing this complete lack of new recruits.

I have no idea what is going on.

I hope they get hung, drawn and quartered at the next AGM. They won't. But they should.

If ever there’s been a glaring example of how poorly we are ran, it’s the fiasco with Go Ahead Eagles.

We bid less than a third of the value of a player we’ve identified and subsequently get literally laughed out of the room.

Huns meet the value of his team mate who plays in the same role in the team, and he’s in Glasgow within days, contributing to them winning another European tie.

This is arguably the worst ran football club in Europe over the last decade and a half mind, and they are now run smoother and more professionally than us, so much so that directors of other clubs feel obliged to mention the disparity.

This puts to bed the absolute drivel that it’s difficult to do deals, and that no one wants to play in Scotland.

You meet the valuation, pay the player his significant and deserved wage rise from our vast mountain of resources, and get the fella on the training ground with our manager and squad.

Very simple stuff. Always has been. Always will be. Except for Celtic and a group of supporters who have been conditioned in to thinking that this is shrewd business at work.

The fact is, we are ran by arrogant, Stone Age directors who think they can still hold to ransom and bully the likes of Hibs and Hearts in to accepting derisory bids so they don’t lose their players for free.

    We’re a * shambles.

    Aye, very true..

Orjasaeter a player we clearly liked and was walking about with a passport expecting to travel over to us..

I was mentioning the huns in the previous post and the other day about value for money. Went in and got Gassaman, Antman and Aasgaard on a mix of release clauses, club financial problems and players contracts running down. As you say, we monitored a guy for about a year and a half and 3 windows at the very least, no even knowing that he had a pretty cheap release clause..

The scouts can spot good players but the way we operate leaves a lot to be desired..

Saw this graphic on one of the pages the other day. Doesn’t look AS terrifying when it’s pictured like this.

what we cannot afford though looking at it, is for anyone to leave as it stands. * position to be in as player power now means if someone wants to go…they’ll go.

defence looks fine as long as no one leaves.

central midfield could definitely be doing with one real quality creative addition.

winger id say we need one really really quality player capable of playing both sides (so Maeda can go central occasionally until Jota is back). Potentially get another in on loan too who isn’t getting into teams down south but is good cover.

sell idah and Kenny and replace with one real quality experienced striker 25+. * the sell on potential for this position.

The lack of pace in midfield is clear as day
The wing options are absolutely frightening
The striker options are laughable for a club our size

It needs urgent attention, big time..

We play against 10 at the back, think more creative in midfield is more urgent than pace bud. Need a player who can unpick teams.

wing is very poor atm but nothing 2 quality buys won’t solve.

Yamada I think will be great for us. Have him as a rotation with a solid experienced striker and I think we’re on to a winner then have osmand for the odd appearance

My one hope this window is the links that are being leaked are all club scouted players. I’m giving the board more grace here haha but I just hope we’re actively trying to get players that we usually couldn’t get. And that’s why we’ve just completely binned of breum, ballikishwa etc when they wouldn’t take our low offer

Think Nygren will bring that creativity in the middle before long. It's pace and being overrun in midfield at times that was glaring last year, particularly against that mob who bypassed our one paced midfield with ease, way too often..
