Wondering about my hole getting mustarded
Didn't see the match as I was away all weekend socialising, barbecues and stuff. Hard to judge only having seen the goals, but do feel the wrongs have been righted and feel more confident about the up and coming games?

Or is it same as before?

Nope i think there is definetly an up of confidence after the 'Well game, we played * hot football in the first half and could have been 7-8 nil up, couldnt really say the same for the second half thought, looked like our players began to get tired

Best football I've seen in a while in that first half, but the defending after half time was pish poor.

If we could get the defence sorted out, we'd have a more than capable team in Europe.

For me it was about the same quality that we saw against Falkirk. But Aalborg, like the * after Falkirk, is probably a better side than Motherwell. And the defense definitely did not leave me with a good feeling.
So I'm staying a little skeptical for now.

Confidence will be better because you are only as good as your last game, and that means the OF can be forgotten and we can get on with winning this title.

Though don't expect such a riot against Killie, they are a hard team this year.

i gave the team a hard time after the old firm game saying they needed to get the finger out. Well now we're well on the way but we still need to sort out the defence. Sorry but i still see mc manus as the weak link.

1st half should have had 8 goals let alone 4 :icon_mrgreen:...2nd half typical celtic , think they had the mentality of it was won lets ease off ..I think if it wasnt for the 1st CL game midweek then we might have seen a different story :celt_2:

first half -magic great to watch ,second half fine for about 10 mins then it went 4-2 ,at this point i worried for celtic, the defence was all over the shop ,it needs to tighten up ,if strachan is sticken by the 2 cb at present ,he needs to get them told ,know messing about or your out ,i would like to see loovens ,but not on wednesday ,lets get this game out the road first ,thats my only real concern about celtic .

Agree about defence. Problem is WGS CAN'T sort them out, they're not good enough.
We're not talking about wee boys here, both are well into their mid/late 20's now and have played together for 2 years.
How many games must we lose goals for fun before Loovens getsa chance?
Our away record in the SPL is an absolute embarrassment, we simply can't keep a clean sheet.

Defensive problems won't change until the personell changes.
