It’ll take them winning the league for us to properly back our manager, as always.

As for the footballing structure, it’ll never change, and is run like an old man’s bowling club.

There’s now several smaller clubs below us in the SPL with a fraction of our resources, but with better run footballing operations.

    We need to get moving.

We have an advantage in the Premiership already that we should be looking to soar away with. Yet instead we're worried about potentially picking up 3 points at Pittodrie on Sunday.

The manager needs a new winger and centre-forward. The lack of actual links makes me think we're genuinely not getting these done until the final week or day of the window.

Shameful really. Should be as prepped as possible for match day 1 of the season. With all other deals happening as a bonus

I'm pretty confident they won't qualify in that route. I'm less confident that we will qualify, though.

See the way things are going there is every chance this could happen. It wouldn’t surprise me if Salzburg beat Brugge as they seem to be pretty much in a near full rebuild this summer having sold or being close to selling 4 or 5 regulars from last year.

I think brugge will beat salzburg and the huns, not overly confident though.

I think both will qualify to be honest.

The difference is they will use the champions league money to improve their team we dont.

Think we will qualify, barring an absolute disaster.

But if the Huns play with similar intensity and pace and create similar atmosphere I think they will comfortably beat either Salzburg or Brugge tbh

And will likely do that same to us at end of the month too

    This.
Dessers, the figure of fun and ridicule at Ibrox - looks better than Idah, certainly works harder
Gassama - we'd be orgasmic with that kind of a start for one of our signings - looks quality
Antman - still early on - but certainly better basic technical ability than Yang.

Obviously if Maeda moves to striker (or we get a new one) and a new winger (or 2) come in and Jota is back, it can all change.
But for now, it really looks grim.

I am not confident of that, time will tell though as there is still a couple of weeks if they get through Salzburg.

Since we played them they have sold their starting Right winger and his replacement right winger (Skov Olsen and Taibi), their left back (De Cuyper), Jashari is all but out the door to Milan, so one of their midfield 3, their main striker, Jutgla is gone and their main centre back, Ordonez is also likely to go before the window closes.

That’s not counting Onyedika who has also been linked with a move.

They have signed a few players but they seem to be still settling in. Avoiding Benfica was massive in that draw for them.

Still zero rumours, even for us its eerily quiet.

I dont have high hopes we'll get anything more than another 2 players in, and I think we need another 4, maybe 5.

Only thing I can think of is our board and Rodgers aren't on the same ball when it comes to linked players. Felt the same last year up until Idah signed, then a few links started popping up.

One thing id be critical of is Rodgers only targeting down south. There's obviously deals to be made but so much of that can be done abroad for much better value, the Brighton winger that's very briefly been mentioned would be pretty underwhelming.

    Getting a bit scary now.

We need 5 players for this window to be remotely near a success still. Minimum.

Keep saying it but genuinely speechless at our lack of activity and particularly having no winger in..

It's beyond disgusting at this point..

    Season started
    Champions league on the horizon

Then having to get players in who'll be up to speed and can adapt/gel with the team..
