We still haven't got JSP across the line yet, a simple dry loan from down the road in Manchester. The story broke that we made an approach on the 27th July.

10 days to complete a dry loan transfer, should worry everyone here. Our transfer moves break at least a week before we conclude a deal. There is not a hope in * anyone else arrives in after JSP before our CL qualifer. We are playing with fire here. It never ceases to amaze me how utterly incompetent Celtic are at executive level. The job is far, far too big for Nicholson.

Not kept up with the transfer news because that’s a stress I don’t need but it sounds like we’re in bad way

Feel like its unlikely we get anyone in til after the CL playoff the way its looking.

Think its a case of Rodgers wont accept what hes been offered so far and the board wont pay a higher rate unless they know they are getting their 50M CL money.

    So we wait

Quite likely the case, even if it is though. It takes us an eternity to get deals over the line. We don't invest in the requisite resources to get deals done.

It's not just waiting on the champions league that is bollicks, it's the fact we've brought in about £18m and spent £4m. So we've just pocketed £14m. At the absolute bare minimum that should be going back into the team regardless of Europe.

It's high time the fans got together and held these * to task. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a football club

    Still no winger in :56::56::56::56::56::56:

Genuinely embarrasing. I STILL see some Celtic fans on social media trying to defend it by saying 'plenty of time left'

We all just want Celtic to be the club we know we can be but some people can't handle it if you dare criticise the club.

11th of July Kuhn left the club btw.

I truly wish this was an option but they are aloof, they view us with contempt. It took riots in the Covid season for them to even address the issue and the address they took was a double down and call the fans thugs.

Im actually at the point I don't care now, feel its too late . * poor preparation. Whoever is responsible be it the board, scouts, negotiators, they should be sacked.
We should all be looking forward to this season, our wingers, Striking positions look really weak. We sold 2 of our CB that for me never got a fair chance bringing in a loan CB.
Taylor also away. Love Tierney but he comes off at the weekend.
Anyone one that signs now just stinks of pure desperation.

They can’t go into the qualifier with the same starting 11 as Sunday. Have to have two 1st team starters in for that. Sheer negligence if not.

Does anyone else get the feeling that we’re going to do * all until after the play off? :56:

Nobody can defend this anymore it’s as tin pot as you can get … 110 million in the bank and we’ve spent 3/4 million for the season actually starting. Unbelievable.

We'd all like quality signings bedded in early, although appreciate that can't always happen for a variety of reasons.

It's at the stage now where it's directly impacting our season. Could very easily have dropped points on Sunday and have a tough away game and then champions league qualifiers. Shameful.

Its also quite disheartening looking at the recent transfer window impact as the new season kicks off.

Idah plays and doesnt have much of an impact. Engles and Trusty and dont even start. Yamada doesnt get on. Inamura doesnt make squad.

Scales acts as an auxillary LB for a yet fully fit KT.

In addition to not bringing in players I think we are gambling on quite a number of players kicking on and raising their level. And relying on guys like Forrest to bring impact. Prob relying on McGregor to play every minute of every game etc - these guys are a year older now.

At best it treading water and at worst we could be going backwards.
