Close this. Their sporting director said either him or Antman will be sold in this window but not both. Huns have agreed a fee for Antman

He is over 2 years younger than Antman and probably better than him so you can see why they'd want more.

Mind that Antman only left Norsjelland last year to them as he wasn't wanted. He did have a good season getting 17 assists but from only 11.62 xA, meaning basically 5/6 goals from his assists were probably a bit lucky or flukes and wonder goals or whatever.

Previous season at Nordsjelland he only got 1 assist and 3 goals in 24 games. Previous season he only got 2 assists and 3 goals in 27 games for Nordjelland and Gronigen combined who he was loaned out to.

If this boys a midfielder and not a winger then we really are not desperate for him.

Unless someone like Hatate is away after the CL games. Its happened before.

An assist can be a pass that someone goes on a long run and creates the goal. It's a deceiving stat, or can be.

    Aye

Theres a reason that Antman left one of the better Danish teams for a mid table Dutch team for £800k, Aberdeen could have probably signed him last season.

His numbers for Nordsjaelland were 16 goals and 7 assists in 110 games, basically an average of 5 goals and 2 assists every 37 games.

Antman signing for them ends any chance of us getting this guy according to their technical director

I bet my bottom dollar we were not interested in him in the first place.

This. He said one but definitely not both would be gone in this window. Imo Antman is the better of the two anyway, and they've got him cheaper than what they wanted for this lad.

I really hope he flops tbh.

He did have decent numbers last season but as you say, very poor before that.

Let's hope it was just a purple patch he went through.

... As for the technical director saying one, not both. Money talks. If we splash the cash, he'll have no option but to sell.

It all depends on how serious we are.

... But we never look serious when purchasing players.

Assists are a mad stat at times, there was a compilation of Hatate’s passing last season, and the finishing robbed him of about 10 world class assists. He was being criticised a lot round that time last season.

If the strikers had finished them, by * the hype would have been through the roof, and Hatate would have been the exact same.

Then it’s not in his G/A stats for the season, somebody who passed last for a player scoring a 30 yarder or beating a few players and scoring gets the assist. It’s an ok general stat but doesn’t actually tell too much, chances created open play, passes taking out players etc the more in depth ones are more useful to tell you the story and will be what clubs use. Assists are the one in vogue though, it used to just be goals, assists have been lumped in with them for a decade or so. But on it’s own tells you not much.

Palma would have had about 20 last season with better finishing.

Why are we after this guy when most on here are saying that Antman is the better player? Doesn't say much for our scouting does it..

They're totally different players. This guy is barely a winger. He's always moving infield.

You really think people's opinion on here - who let's be honest have only looked at g/a or a few min clip of either players - means our scouting is off? Cmon

Personally I think Breum looks a better footballer than Antman. But as I said, vastly different players. Like comparing Hatate to Forrest.

Reports are that he's making noise about leaving before the window shuts.

... Player power and all that.

Not really saying much is he

Jakob Breum has told Celtic that he could still leave Go Ahead Eagles this month - despite the Hoops being unable to agree a deal for the Danish winger.

Record Sport has learned that the Dutch outfit are standing firm on their valuation of the player because 25 per cent of his next transfer fee will be awarded to Breum's former club Odense, having inserted a sell-on clause into the Dane's switch to the Netherlands two years ago.

Go Ahead pulled off a huge shock by edging out AZ Alkmaar on penalties to win the KNVB Cup last season, securing qualification for the group stages of the Europa League for the first time in their history.

But the player himself admits that a move elsewhere could still be on the cards in the final month of the summer window. Speaking to ESPN after Go Ahead Eagles' 2-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Johan Cruyff Shield on Sunday, he said: "Time will tell.

There's still one month left, but as long as I'm here, I'll do my best. It's a boring answer, but that's the way it is. Now that important players have left, other players have to step up."
