You make it sound like thats suddenly enough time, we're playing the 1st leg in 2 weeks. As I said, its unrealistic and unfair to expect a new signing to be bedded in and making a difference in that time frame. It doesn't matter what way you slice it we are unprepared for this game and our squad is in an unacceptable state.

For the qualifying phase and the play-offs, a club may register a maximum of two new eligible players on List A after the above-mentioned deadlines, provided the quota of locally trained players is respected. This registration must be completed by 24:00 CET the day before the relevant first-leg match and the club’s association

    From UEFA website mate..

Don't get me wrong it's still far from ideal

It doesn't, your assuming Antman is better than Yang and Forrest, how many times have you watched him play? I've already stated that I'm frustrated at the length of time it's took to get players in and Rodgers comments add to my concern however, we tend to sign players on 4 or 5 year deals. I would rather wait 4 weeks to get it right than get the wrong player in now. We are strong enough to deal with the rest of the month and I think we will get players in to debut against Falkirk prior to Bratislava anyways.

Agreed, it's a shambles and far from ideal..

However, if we get players in before the 1st leg, with another game domestic game in-between the legs, new signings could definitely make an impact.

Ok fair play. I got mine off Google so i guess this hits harder lol.

Still to late to get them bedded into the team though.

How many times have I watched Yang and Forrest is the relevant question. More than enough to know that having them as our only 2 options on the wing is unacceptable. Selling Kuhn and not replacing him is unacceptable. What is your argument going to be if we don't have any new signings in before Falkirk? What would your argument be if we lost the qualifier and ended up playing in the Europa League? Would you rather wait 4 weeks then when you've already played a season defining game? Give your head a shake and wake up, our transfer activity is a disgrace.

Its a tall order, Kuhn's replacement should have been in the door and playing yesterday. It really is as simple as that. We need to be giving ourselves the best possible chance of getting through the playoff and we have already failed to do that.

I'll judge it at the end of the window and if any of those things happen but I'm not going to get raging about something that hasn't happened that would just be silly.

Even if we hear something tomorrow (which I doubt), they won’t be signed in time to play Aberdeen.

So it’ll be up to Pittodrie with that front 3 again. * shambles.

Are we in the 5% of clubs who just sell and not bring someone in then?

We are fantastic at selling players quickly, not so much at buying them quickly.

    Funny that.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a bit of a stand off here of the board (Desmond) saying sign the new deal and we'll spend money and Rodgers saying spend the money/show ambition and I'll sign it.

Both egos are huge, both are stubborn and neither likely to back down. I'm the meantime, the team suffers

When our own manager is questioning our ambition and insinuating he'll walk at the end of the season you really have to question what we're doing. You're taking happy clapping to a new level.

I think you have misunderstood my post or quoted my post by mistake as your response doesn't relate to my post in any way. Where are you getting this 5% of clubs from?

We are 24 hours on from JSP sitting in the stands and still no announcement. Why?

It’s stuff like this that just show how disconnected the board are from the support.

    Shower of *.

Can you point out where I said i was happy with the transfer window, I think you'll find I've stated the opposite. I'll decide as the season plays out if the winger we sign is better than Antman and if we made the correct decision to wait to get the right player or if we made a mistake. I'm not going to get raging at some hypothetical scenario that may or may not play out. I remember everyone being excited when we signed Shane Duffy, me included and I remember folk saying they would punt Khun for our money back as he would never be good enough last summer.

Genuinly, he wasnt really one of the best wingers though. Decent transfer, however both PSV and Feyenoord both sold their main wingers and neither had a look into Antman. If he was really that great they would have took him for that price. As thats not a huge fee for them.

Not having Kuhn replaced is nothing short of embarrassing
