Always puts in a good shift off the bench. Thought him and Engels did a good job of freshening up the midfield when they came on. Brilliant impact from Luke.

He has to be up there with one of our best for value signings ever.

Probably missing that extra bit to start for us fully, but for £1 million hes been an incredible signing.

He’s an unreal option for us coming off the bench in these types of games where he almost always seems to make a big impact. Looked an absolute unit too. He’ll probably never truly nail down a spot as a regular starter but for £1m he’s been an incredible bit of business.

He was so excited pre-game to meet Paul McStay. Seems fitting he got the winner

Luke McCowan paid back a good chunk of the £1M fee for him today.

That was one vital goal he scored for us, when it looked like it was not going to be our day.

Think it is safe to say, he has already done that. Not the first time he has made the difference in games when it's looked like it's not been our day.

Him and Cal Mac are the two best finishers in the squad, he’s always a goal threat

Not gonna lie. Didn't think he was anywhere near good enough. However, think as time goes he's going to become a very important sqaud player. Great to see.

Yeah I’m very surprised how well he’s stepped up.

however ultimately we do play every team that he was performing well against anyway! We should be buying more players from the league for low fees who like McCowan can be adequate squad players and seamlessly integrate
