You serious? He made the same run every time he got the ball and constantly gave it away with crap passing. We need massively better on the RW.

After we scored anyone notice they were getting every 50/50 decision. Booking for Engels was a disgrace

I will bet my life on it, that whether it is a 5yr old playing with mates, grown adults in a cage playing after work, all the way to the best professionals in the game. Every single player going into a challenge like that, all put their body in like that.

Every single one. It is quite literally the most natural position to take up

Great to get the 3 points but I can’t watch too many games with idah and Yang starting, my blood pressure won’t take it ! Jota a massive miss but we badly need 2 wingers at least .

Perfect performance and result in a weird way. Struggled in the final third which highlights our lack of quality in that area that can still yet be rectified, but the 3pts secured and a good foundation of defence and midfield functioning well.

We aren't miles off, just need some firepower brought in to freshen up the attack.

Rodgers made his point but it nearly cost us the 3 points. Childish and showing no respect for the fans.

    And breathe

    Relief

Major surgery needed to the side as we all know, particularly in attack, but don't underestimate how massive those 3 points are, St Mirren will hand the huns their * plenty times this season, very handy outfit under Robinson

St Mirren have a lot of solid pros, are well coached and scout well. As good an example of a well run football club as you'll get. Fair play to them.

A win is a win and all that. But absolutely grim besides that late winner.

Idah is an absolute waste of space. Id play almost anyone over him. Should be sold half price to anyone who wants him.

Same goes for Yang. Id rather give tilio a go or a kid from the B team. Waste of space.

And all the board noise aside, it just isnt good enough from a team that has two players worth 15m on the bench playing against a team with the budget of a bottom half English league 2 team. Just unacceptable all round.

If that doesn't highlight that Celtic need more quality in the final third I am not sure what will. St Mirren defended very well with lots of blocks and last-ditch interceptions, but that was almost like a training game of defence vs attack. It was wave after wave of attack with very little cutting edge, and we should have won easier. We dominated the midfield and much of the build-up play was good, but there's a real need for more ruthlessness when it matters most.

2 late goals needed in the last two league games, both against St Mirren at home.

    Shouldn’t be in that position.

In fairness, the VAR or referee or whoever isn’t wrong.

You can argue the rules are wrong, but the rules were applied correctly in this instance.

It’s a * rule but it’s a rule unfortunately. If the guy who scores uses his arm immediately before scoring whether intentional or not it’s disallowed. Where it gets stupid is if the keeper saves that or McGregor sets someone up it would’ve counted.

Glad for the win, St Mirren are always tough.

Sort of torn, not a good performance but felt St Mirren had help. Need to get wingers in ASAP though.

If we're being brutally honest, we should be looking to get rid of Yang and Idah.

They're either not worth the wage and fee we have paid for them or they're just not good enough to be called upon when needed.
