Utterly bizarre. Probably holding out for a £50k increase in the loan fee.

This is exhibit A for what a disgrace this board is. O we can sell Kyogo but not buy a striker to replace him which came back to haunt us in the cup final and now sure we can sell Kuhn with no replacement on the way but no no no Tilio we can't sell until we have a replacement. What a disgrace and its 100% self inflicted courtesy of this board.

Stalling in this shows we are not even close to another winger coming in

Brendan said today in terms of forward type players there is nothing close to being done.

Very odd not to let him go, I’m assuming its the principle for BR and not the actual practicality because i guarantee if all 3 wide men go down injured on Sunday you will see Nygren and McGowan come on before him. Even McCardle, Tierney i think would play wide left ahead of him.

Tilio was 7th of 8th best/choice winger at club, couldn't even get a loan anywhere in the whole of Europe last season is now somehow crucial.

Yang has also gone from nowhere near Celtic standard to someone we can't afford to sell.

This can only be Brendan getting it right up the board, surely?
Wouldn't a better way to do that be to sanction getting rid of both Tilio and Yang and leave us with virtually no wingers (as opposed to the previous million) to force new signings?

    Either way, what a mess.

    Just let him go.

He'll be lucky to even make the bench tomorrow and even if he does he wont get on.

It's also indicative of how poor a job the youth academy is doing that there isn't 1 winger better than this useless dwarf

Agree, but what’s the point. Surely changing our formation would be better than playing guys in a position where they clearly aren’t close to being good enough

*according to Anthony Joseph Rapid are putting pressure on as to get this done. Laughable

** actually not laughable at all, infuriating

The fact that Rapid Vienna are willing to pay over a million euro on the obligation to buy is crazy as well. Just sell the lad. It would be typical transfer mismanagement by this board if Rapid end up moving on and we don't sell Tilio at all.

    It’s genuinely mental.

They’re offering us over a million, almost letting us wipe our face in terms of the transfer fee, for a guy who’d struggle to get a game for us playing tiddlywinks, never mind football. We could replace him with a youth player, or have basically anyone in the squad play out of position, and I don’t think there’d be that much of a difference.

I’d sooner ask Sinisalo if he fancies a game on the wing than bring Tilio on.

Unfortunately your all correct in that. It's an absolute disgrace that from a position of clear strength we are seeing this deliberate and self inflicted mismanagement happening before our eyes. Whats crazy IMHO is this board which is so risk adverse is actually putting even our domestic dominance at risk because of their lack of vision and ambition. To say we need new people on the board with fresh ideas and a real ambition to push us further on the field is a massive understatement.
