Might be (definitely am) biased as an Irishman but I've seen this sentiment a lot and I don't know how at this stage of their respective careers anyone could make the claim that a guy who has, as far as I can tell, literally zero games of competitive senior football is "loads better" than a lad who for a while was the leading goal scorer in the europa conference league. Not saying Kenny is good enough to play for us now (he isn't, realistically) or that Osmand won't be (he might) but it's insane to me to say that Osmand is way better.

An SPFL loan would be good for him.

Would be a great chance to prove he can do damage in the Premiership.

No idea why Hibs don't take him.

They'd have been better having a loan or giving us 1m for him than that diddy they've signed.

    Would be a good move.

They play good football and he ls likely to start most games.

Still don't think he's ever gonna be good enough for us but another year on loan won't do any harm

He'll be 23 I think in another year. Don't see the point of a loan. I'd prefer to keep him this year as striker competition or sell him. He's done well in preseason but it's twist or bust time for me.

his stats for fulham in premiership 2 were superb, also very good in the under 18 league and from what ive seen of him in youtube clips, boys a player

could send him on loan i think * tear it up, think he would be more useful in and around our first team squad

Kieran Bowie is as big, if not more of a prospect than Kenny so they’ll be putting all their eggs in that basket this year. Also got Boyle and Youan who can play there.

I’d rather for Kenny’s sake he goes to Falkirk and plays every single game

Could try get both him and Kenny out to Falkirk. Style of play there would be perfect for them both

Presumably to increase his value. Hypothetically speaking if Celtic got Kenny on a three year extension and he went straight out on loan to Falkirk and hit 20 in the SPL, I think we'd be very likely to get £3-4m from an English club or Dutch or Belgian club. Now we'd struggle to get £1m.

I also think LOI players are generally slower to develop than players who came through academies in the bigger leagues so will hit their peak years a little later. There's a lot of potential there with Kenny, he's quite raw now but I can see him going on to have a successful career but it most likely won't be here.

Says how bad are when this boy is a genuine candidate to be our main striker but could also go on loan to Falkirk.

Are we back in the 90's? At least in the 90"s we were actually skint.

I am sure McGlynn in an interview last week mentioned that they were in talks with an English side and ourselves about players on loan.

It would be a good move for him to go there and play regularly in our league and see what he can do.

Personally I would have sold him to Bolton when they enquired but if he is to stay and go out on loan that would be a decent move.

Basically I don’t know if it’s Kenny, McGlynn was talking about but he said they were actively talking to us for a player(s) on loan for the season. Who they are I have no idea.

I also saw Motherwell being mentioned as keen to take Kenny on loan.

They have that Aussie striker who is decent enough as well. Think Falkirk would be a good move for him in that he's their main no 9 so he will get the minutes he needs.

Hopefully Rodgers links to McGlynn can convince Kenny to go out on loan to Falkirk too rather than a permanent to Bolton.
