We've made over 20 mill in player sales this window with Lagerbielke and Kuhn being sold...also the Frimpong money as well. Nearly every position needs an additional player. I can see us fannying about until the closing stages trying to get this boy and neglecting other positions we need reinforcements in

I am a bit confused by this one all in unless we plan to change shape. Breum seems to have had a mediocre career as a predominantly left winger until GAE moved him to a number 10 where he thrived last season. We desperately need wingers and don’t play with a number 10 or haven’t recently, we have also signed Nygren who plays there. Do we plan to move him back to being a winger?

See after having a €1.5m bid laughed at and a price named by GAE surely our next bid had to be at least £4m + add ons or something or if the £2.6m bid was rejected you follow up quickly with say £4.5m plus add ons?

    We just seem to stop.

For me this lad is not going to give us what we need. Looks a decent player but I think if he's signed as a winger he will struggle to make an impact, he is lightweight and seems to lack top end pace. I'd much, much rather Orjasaeter and probably Balikwisha. Can't see a deal being done given how far away we are.

He looks ok but very lightweight..

Probably would do a job for us and add depth. These bids though...........chronic..

They've signed multiple players for £5m past few years. Even prior to this takeover.

Good question but they’ve already spent about £12 million according to Transfermarket. We’ve spent £3 million

Have they signed Antman. Last i read earlier was their club saying they hadn't received a bid for him

    * embarrassing how easily they can spend money despite not having any large sales, champions league money, or £100m in the bank.

You'd think we were the * that went bust the way we behave

Fit right in here then. We have the most physically-challenged squad in the league. Another obvious squad flaw that hasn't been rectified despite being a problem for a number of years.

The thing is just taking the Kuhn money, we could easily sign Orjasaeter, Breum/Balikwisha and someone like Serginho from Viborg and basically be about even.

The time we then consider we sold Kuhn, Loan with Obligation Tilio and loan with option for Palma we would probably be wage neutral out of that activity too.

Whatever way you look at it, we could actually turn losing a good player to a positive in the aggregate whilst balancing the wage balance by moving on fringe players alongside it.

Where you lose Kuhn’s 21 goals and 15 assists you get 3 players all capable of as an aggregate bettering that total and you could move Maeda centrally.

From a player trading perspective where Balikwisha and Serginho are a little older they could probably still double their value especially Serginho as he is reported to be available for about £3.5m and Orjasaeter and Breum are young enough that a couple of good seasons could see them at least move for Kuhn type money so more than double we would pay for them.

This is how ridiculous our situation is, it isn’t as if we need to be targeting expensive players wanting big wages but just simply good quality, high potential creative forwards.
