I can’t see him being a regular starter based on his recent performances.

What panics me is that the board have the right to hold * money if we end up spunking it on players like this.

The scouting involved here with this have been a * disgrace.

We paid 11 million for him....Not 1 million......Mistakes like this cannot happen again.

 

When I said that a reliable penalty taker would be worth his weight in gold I was speaking metaphorically

Really has grated on me in every pre season game. Thought he was utter * yet again..

 

Obviously still pre season but my patience is wearing thin at this stage. All for giving guys plenty time to find form but he was absolutely shocking tonight. Brutal.

 

Im still not buying into this "he's still young" excuse as several guys younger than him came on and made an impact whereas he was practically invisible the whole game. Whoever scouted him needs to be sacked for gross negligence

There's only so often fans can keep giving him excuses. Since he has joined celtic his performances have been average

 

It's not an excuse, he is still a young player, trying to argue against that is stupid.

 

I like him and defended him a lot last season but he's been really poor pre season make or break season coming up for him

 

That full midfield was brutal last night. Nygren, McGregor and Hatate don't have much to worry about. The rest of us do though, if either of them pick up an injury.

 

I have feeling him and Idah are going to be this years scapegoats for fans frustration.

 

Never seen whole game but for the time i watched, I thought he was OK. Had the ball in midfield at one point, could see where he wanted to pass up the left wing but nobody was their. Done some we nice move to keep the ball, and recycle it back the other way. Showed composure. Not saying he wasnt pish the rest, but thats the only bit that stood out potential.

 

Just take the hit anything in the 4 to 6 million just punt and bring in another midfielder he's a man down in the team

 

A footballer where it is impossible to tell what he is supposed to be good at.

Put him on loan to Livi for the season to toughen him up

Seriously though I’m not going to take much away from pre-season games, been plenty players that look world class then are pish when it comes to the real games and vice versa.

No doubt that he needs to toughen up but only 21(I know it’s been argued to the death) I still think he’ll come good. Not a starter for us yet though.

 

Im actually hoping Nygren coming in takes some of the weight off his shoulders. Maybe taking a bit of a back seat is whats best for him. Get away from being this record signing, MOR replacement, and just focus on his own game…

 

I could get behind that if he wasn't also pretty pish for most of the 2nd half of the season. Not looking good for him or us. Needs the old boot up the *.

 

At the run in he was poor yes but so was majority of the team. He was good first half of the season but seemed to run out of steam.

Would say its more the confidence side for him so really need Calmac and the likes to help him with that side. The price tag has put this expectation on him and with the fans, he needs time.
