    His solicitor, Ciarán Shiels, described his conviction as a "grave miscarriage of justice".
    Speaking outside the court, Mr Shiels said the former footballer had been "very shabbily treated by the PSNI in this city

    prominent Proud * (McCourts words) treated shabbily by psni, surely not

    Convicted and put on a * offenders register for standing in a bar.

    No CCTV evidence, no DNA. They found 4 DNA samples on the girls underwear, not one of them was Courts.

    He's behaved impeccably throughout this. Not once victim blaming, or going after the prosecution service.

    If only the rags could've been as diplomatic and empathetic. Called him everything.
    Funny how they report in the "incident" with slants of "shame" and "sexual assault" and "* pest".
    Yet when he's acquited, they just report cold hard facts.

    Funny the Huns thread on FF has dried up too.

    * em all.

    If you could somehow merge Maeda with Paddy’s football ability you’d have a Balon d’Or winner. Weird that two flawed but genius footballers in their own way can have me utterly sure of my nonsense hypothetical.

    I used to say Cha Du Ri for that as well, Maeda in some very specific ways, not overall can be labelled as the best at it and football.

    Genuinely one of the most naturally talented players I've ever seen at Celtic.
    If he had the fitness and work ethic to match, who knows what he could have achieved.
