Think Kenny’s seized that chance in pre-season. Not just in friendlies, his attitude and performance in training was highlighted as well.

 

Nygren already showing more quality
My fear now he's going to get played because of how much we paid for him, its not working better to cut losses. I would love to be proved wrong though.

See being fair to the team the first half we should have scored 3 or 4 ourselves missing really good chances.

The second half just turned into suicidal stuff as the team badly tired. Their second and Third goals were the real shambles defensively especially the third. Goals 4 and 5 are good finishes as was their first where the boy hand balled it clearly.

That’s not excusing the mess that was some of our general defending. Scales in particular and you could tell it was CCVs first game for a while. Beyond that the team tired so badly.

The squad at the moment is 4 players absolute minimum short but in reality we could really be doing with 6 for the match day squad.

- A starting centre back
- A starting defensive or at least mobile centre midfielder with the ability to break up play.
- a new left winger
- A new right winger
- someone capable of playing across the front line
- back up left back

 

I thought we played well in the first half, in particular Tierey. He's such an intelligent player and had a class game.

However, I'm still not sold on Idah. He looked lost at times. I'd want us to go for a better option up front.

I was at the game and have to say, a lot of Ajax fans are trash.

 

Take it, you're a bit excited about tomorrow, m8. I've never seen so much green and yellow as I've done over the last few days all over Donegal and I just hope the lads do it. Can't imagine what the scenes will be like if they win it.
