    Glad were trying to get him cheaper. Anyone we pay over a few million for gets absoloutely slaughtered every game even if they play well.

    Thing is if we keep low balling clubs they'll just refuse to do business with us...whether we think the player is worth what their asking or not that's the figure being asked so either stump up the fee quoted or move on. 5 million for a 21 yr old Danish International who had a great season in the Dutch league is hardly asking too much when you see the amount we've spent on the likes of Ajeti, Klimala, or even Idah.

    The lad had 15 goal contributions in 26 games and still has 2 yrs on his contract we were never getting him for 1.7 mill.

    Jesus, lads! This is just horse-trading tactics... The want 5M(€?) and we offered about £2M... Those numbers aren't so far away they couldn't quite quickly have rattled out to £3-4M if the interest was there, which is what the lad will probably finish up going for, if he moves in this window... If he keeps it up he'll be close to double figures by next... It's not like we went after a £15M player and offered £3M...

    Besides, maybe we'd heard a rumour of a buy out clause or something and tested the waters... At the end of the day, he looks a quality player, who will develop, and therefore the right kind for us to be looking at... We should definitely pursue if we can get him for around £4M

    Looking at his positions he's played most of his career at left wing, but this season he's played through the middle (AM) and it's resulted in his best season - stats wise -.

    Feels like we stuck the same bid in for him & Nygren and Nygren got accepted.

    There were reports that Celtic have had a £1.5 million bid for Danish winger Jakob Breum from Go Ahead Eagles turned down.

    Danish sources have dismissed that and claimed Celtic’s interest hasn’t been renewed.
