That would be the best scenario IMHO. I think he certainly deserves that chance if he agrees a new contract he has done enough in pre-season to show he has a chance at Celtic albeit I think a good loan deal is what he needs next. Has to be a decent loan though to preferably a decent spfl side like Aberdeen or Hibernian etc.

Thats a good shout if they haven't replaced Dalby from last seasons team.

I thought his movement was genuinely very good in that Newcastle game. However, I also thought his finishing was pretty diabolical.

Agree 100% that he needs a loan where he can get first-team football - however, that's difficult to find for a young striker without many first-team games and goals under his belt.

He completely whiffed one shot but to be fair Kyogo used to do that every other game too. The way Rodgers talks about his finishing he sounds like our best finisher in training.

Bolton are hoping to agree a fee for Celtic striker Johnny Kenny this week.
Wanderers rate Kenny at around £500,000 and now have the cash to offer - with possible extras. Celtic are still keen to get £1 million guaranteed

Another loan isn't gonna make a massive difference to be fair other than maybe getting us a higher fee.

He works hard and is apparently a very good finisher but he's miles below the level we require.

Working harder than Idah isn't enough

Sadly he's not good enough to be a starter with us. He tries which at least helps.
