No problem with this kind of deal, it's a profile of player I feel we need in the squad but I don't think he'd realistically feature much. If we like what we see we are probably better agreeing a deal and then signing him in January or for start of next season.

Generally though when it's an article where it links a load of clubs with a player it tends to be unreliable. Worryingly I think we are a lull now. All the concrete links have signed for the club or moved to a different club like Jansson. None of the fresh links in the past couple of weeks seem to have much to go on.

Every presser or interview Rodgers does is trying to pressurize the board. He talks about expecting loads of signings and needing goals etc so he is trying to build expectation from the fans and putting the pressure of the board to deliver on that front. He is quite clever what he is doing but our board seem to be that brazen about it.

We also don't seem to blindside the media or conclude deals quickly. News will break of us being interest in a player or having made a bid for a player and will take 2-3 weeks for that deal to become official, so its highly worrying that we don't even seem to be in the initial stages of signing anyone presently.

 

Don't mind these kind of deals but we need a DM for the first team.

I think this is bullshit for two reasons. Its a real iffy source We need an experienced DM.

We have already got Bernado who could fill in at a push, so we don't need a project DM.
