Ho's been permabanned?! I'm pretty gutted about that. One of the posters that made this place interesting.

 

Unsure of how I feel about it.

He definitely made it interesting but he was always one of the prime suspects for getting into arguments over politics and North Korea etc.

In saying that, i'm sure he'll just make another account.

I think was an interesting poster. It was his way or the highway though in some debates. And he just looked for a reaction with his constant slagging of Lennon. Definitely makes for interesting conversation though!

 

I used to hate Ho; got banned for wishing AID's on him when I was pished

Don't see how, the Mods aren't stupid. Firstly how many members here have a Vietnamese IP address? I suppose he could use a proxy, but that'd probably be too much of a pain in the * for accessing a forum. Secondly his style was very unique: he'd be spotted a mile off. The only people that can get away with just opening another account without the mods spotting it are precisely those the other members would barely notice are gone anyway.

I think that as far as this room is concerned, he often got frustrated by posters that just glibly repeated what they'd heard from the media as if it were fact and who got most of their opinions second hand from the same media without bothering to think for themselves. Regarding the other rooms and his views on Lenny in particular, it is pretty clear to me that he'd been under a lot of stress recently and I think that he was struggling a little and his posts this last few weeks reflected that.

Like I say, gutted to see he's gone. Most of all I'm gutted that he's not here any longer for me to learn from, What's the name of his blog BTW? I think I might take a look.

Ho's posts where always interesting and despite disagreeing with nearly everything he said I always enjoyed his posts.
