    He's obviously very talented but he's scored 3 senior goals, had a knee operation 18 months ago and just missed 3 months at the end of the season with a hamstring injury. Risky.

    They have far better players in his position. Barring the odd run-out in a cup game or two he won't be playing much for Liverpool. Post-Brexit it seems that English PL clubs have gone from hoovering-up young talent from abroad to taking the best young Scottish lads. Shouldn't be allowed for me, the English PL sides have everything already, why do they need to strip Scottish clubs of their best youngsters too?

    I don't blame him for going south but I never thought he'd become a first team regular there. Liverpool can afford the best forwards in the world and, even if he fulfils his potential, Doak isn't at that level. The rumoured £25M price-tag is ridiculous too. A prime example of how ludicrously over-inflated transfer fees are in England.
