I get it's not the strongest defenders over in Japan, but he looks really, really strong.

Idah hasn't ever used his Physicality enough for me up front, having this guy will make a difference.

    Definitely no slouch either.

I’d be lying if I said I’ve seen a lot of him live, my local team are now in the J3.
Going by the general consensus here he has genuine potential, despite having a bit of an “off” season.
But I heard the same about Ideguchi so I’m gonna hold back expectations on that one until I see him in the hoops!

Hmm Kuhn has been heavily criticised for seeming to down tools.
Japanese players typically have professional attitudes and good work ethics so I’d be surprised if this was the case.

He’s underperforming his xG for the league season where he has 2 league goals it would be expected he is on around 7.

He mentioned himself the team have changed their way of playing. He has also been a bit more in and out of the side, early in the season it was because they done so well in the Asian Champions League and reached the final, so they had a lot of midweek games.

I actually wonder if there was maybe a bit of burnout at play given they didn’t really get an end of season break with still playing in the Asian champions league but that stopped at the start of December until February so not really an excuse.

Shin Yamada, who burns his fighting spirit in the big explosion of German, "(last season) because it's the same score" ... Celtic transfer report "I can't talk about anything yet"

FW Shin Yamada (Kawasaki F), who made his debut for the Japanese national team in the first match of the EAFF E-1 championship, played midway from the second half against Hong Kong, and made his debut against China the next day, said, "I couldn't score against Hong Kong, and I gradually got used to the environment, and my teammates and teams did it. I'm getting to understand. Among them, I just need to be able to put out what is hidden inside me," he quietly burned his fighting spirit.

In the Hong Kong game, he played for 45 minutes in the second half, which was 5-0 with a large lead, but the overall content was stagnant, and all he said was a point of reflection. " While the opponent simply kicked the previous player, I think I was able to make more time to push in, and the sense of distance was not good. It would have been nice if I could share my image with myself, and I could have showed my face more often. In terms of how to enter the cross, I think that if I can not only score points, but also crush it in the near, the team will have increased the points," he said, and he strongly wants to make use of the reflection of the Hong Kong match next time.

China, the opponent of the second game, played against South Korea in the first match on the 7th, and the black star started 0-3, but the rough play was noticeable, and the Korean media criticized it as "Shaolin football". The game against Japan is also expected to come with a warning-level rough play, but Yamada has the image of approaching the goal by taking it against it.

"I think it's rough, but there's a strong bite on people, so I want to feel the disorder of the DF line at that time and poke it. It is important to take a good look at the other person without being under too much pressure from the other person," he said.

In the interview response on this day, I was also asked about the fact that Yamada's transfer to Celtic was approaching, mainly in the Scottish media, in the past few days, but "I have nothing to talk about yet. I don't know yet for now," Yamada replied. There is no doubt that he is 100% focused on the E-1 championship, which is fighting with the circle of the sun on his back for the first time.

In the match against Hong Kong, FW Germain Ryo (Hiroshima), who both recorded 19 points, the most Japanese in J1 last season, left a huge impact with a large number of 4 points. It was a shock, and I felt like I was taking a little too much. While saying that and inviting laughter, "(in J1 last season) I think I have the ability (to) because I have the same score. I want to do my best not to lose to him," he said with serious eyes. I really want to see him score a goal by poking the gap in China's DF line, which is expected to be pulled.

Yeah it's hard to judge his videos cause their goalkeepers are usually pretty awful as well. If he's got Kyogo-esque finishing with Maeda-like work rate then that's some hybrid. That's how he looks in those clips for me.

Im more impressed with his highlights reel than I was with Maeda's at the time.

The defending/GKing in every video from Japan has been awful admittedly. Hence why I think everyone was so concerned over the Inamura deal.

Reminds me of Scott McDonald with a low centre of gravity, but a bit quicker and more lively. Hopefully he starts off well and impresses. Also, his name sounds like a good insult, or a threat. As in ''i'd take her out with a slide tackle right in the shins'' looking forward to seeing him play.

Was absolutely fuming initially but if he can discover that form we have got a bargain. Can’t remember a striker we have signed in recent years with such a variation of goals.

His movement is very clever a lot of those goals he absolutely does the centre halves to get a couple yards.

He’ll get goals for us if he moves like that in the box, some really clever headers too but i suspect he’ll generally have some brick chewing 6’4 heid it and kick it centre half heading away anything that is football shaped within ten yards of him to seal with
