Tell you what, that was some turn out for what that game was. Fair play to everyone that went along.

I'm only going by what others have said but that Inamura sounds like he's a right bargain.

Not just kids, simpy, I was on the pitch at Clones in '22 when Derry won the Ulster Championship.

 

Who was the quick right winger on the right second half that seemed a bit of a unit and linked up well with Osmand?

 

Thomas Hatton he is 18 just now but was one of very few in that second half that showed a little something.

I know it’s a preseason friendly but if was a really poor showing from boys like Turley, McArdle for his brief stint, Frame largely too and Montgomery and Welsh just need to move on. Doohan hopefully won’t be required this season as he looked very poor.

Another who didn’t impress me was Dane Murray first half, he will need to improve defensively if he is to be a genuine centre back option for us.

Turley I'll be honest, I don't rate him. Never really stood out for me

McArdle I do rate but his 2 cameos have been below par

Dane Murray is miles off Celtic class. I watched seen a couple of his Queens Park games on the telly.....1 against Raith and he was utter pish..

 

Yeah I am thinking we need two centre backs this window and a clear out now.

Read in a few different places that Trusty has interest from Birmingham and other Championship clubs. You could probably also sell him to MLS. I am not convinced he is actually worse than Scales but Rodgers clearly thinks that. So we would be as well trying to get the majority of our money back and move him on, his performances in the CL should carry some weight still.

Get two in, one for each side.

Way too slow and stiff in everything he does. Injuries have definitely hampered him as well but he's no it..

Trusty I'd rather persevere with but you're right, Rodgers clearly rates Scales higher....mental to me but it's pretty obvious that's the case..

Need a left sided starter and a good option backup to Carter-Vickers..

Really don’t understand the hard on Rodgers has for Murray. Hes the one youth player he consistently brings up unprovoked or talks about when asked on the youths. Not seen in a single appearance why he rates him highly.
