Honestly though, I don’t think it’s down to us this, I think we’ve asked the question and a better league abroad, a better league, a team with less pressure he’d more likely play for and witnessing the guy’s development who have taken that path, we have absolutely no * argument to hold up why he would be better off coming here.

We'll see what happens, wouldn't rule us out completely but at the end of the day he won't be guaranteed first team football whoever he moves to, so if we are in for him & for a hefty fee & he knocks us back for that reason then that's on him & his (lack of) confidence in making it here. We won't be spending £4/5/6m on a player to sit in the youth team that's for sure. The rest would be up to him.

Wherever he goes abroad he won't be a guaranteed starter. Infact he'd likely get more first team game time at us than if he goes abroad..

He instantly comes in and jumps ahead of McCowan and Bernardo for me. Meaning he's at the very worst, the first port of call from the bench for a midfield 3..

If we are serious, then we go for him now, over pay and accept it. But its clear he wants abroad, so this will drag on all summer till the end, where he will go to Europe for about £3.5m. Be glad when its done either way.

 

Rodger Hannah speculating that Motherwell are looking for £4.5m for Miller. Would be an absolute steal at that. I know he only has a year left but he would be more than worth it.

Regardless of what’s been said by his dad in the press we should make Motherwell the offer they want and make the boy a solid offer.

Getting in ahead of the crowd on this one will pay off imo, maybe he does have a preference to play abroad but if the only offer on paper is from us i think he’ll find it tough to turn down.
