Long way to go of course but Scotland's Robert MacIntyre has made a very solid start in the USPGA. I got him at 100/1 anti post EW 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

 

Smart money would be on Scottie to walk it but hoping one of the chasing pack can make it interesting

 

Certainly getting interesting now...

 

Very much worth following Robert MacIntyre in the next 2 Majors the US Open and The Open itself . Do this highly talented Scot who is gaining a good slice of form just in time each way and cash this there to be made.

 

Got to agree with you mate, certainly the open he has a chance.

 

Non major wise it’s become one of the most entertaining events.

Very nearly went to a 5th hole to lol, wonder what theyd have done then. Change the pin on the green again or do a different hole altogether.

 

They said they change the pin position again so must be the rules now where you just keep playing the 18th hole and changing the pin position every 2 failed attempts.

Never knew that either, probably just to get it over and done with quicker, im sure they used to go back to like the 16th and play that then 17 and 18 and then 18 again or that but must be to just do it right away without fans moving about they just replay the 18th all the time so they don't need to wait for thousands of people to march about the course.

 

US open off and running them, this should be a great watch. players getting made look normal on this course if they go in the rough. a 289 yard par 3… ridiculous but what the elite need this days to challenge them.

I think if anyone shoots under par for the tournament they will win it. I think there is rain forecast however so that would help the players if it softens up the greens. However, a bit of rain will make the rough even juicier than it already is. Love watching the players struggling. Usually a birdie fest every week, so I love seeing it difficult for them.

 

Come on Bob shoot under par today if not shoot another par round, that will do, plus 2 could win this event. Could be similar to the Open back in 1985, think about it.

 

Sam burns shooting 65 in they conditions is ridiculous golf

 

Picked Detry on my sweeper and got something on his each way, shame he * his last 5 holes yesterday. Had 4 double bogeys on his card and 3 of them on the last 5 but scrambling a 73 seems like a ok score considering.

See Mcilroy is throwing his toys out the pram again, smashing up tee boxes, throwing clubs about and refusing to talk to the media, guy is an absolute * when he’s not getting everything his own way.

This is one * of a tough course and I love it's strong Scottish connection. It also takes away all the advantages of the modern equipment.
Also it is going to be a very exciting last 2 days with around 20 players who could still win this, plus 2 or plus 1 could easily be the winning score. So come on Scotland's Bob get a place, I think he can get a Top 6 place here then go to the Open next month in a very good place and seeking Scottish glory.

 

McIlroy is one wee * of a boy. Toys well and truly out the pram.
