    I genuinely thought we would reign in the spending but many have said looks unlikely.

    Probably get £25m from hatate and khun imo then say you get £10m + from the dross then add into that the £5m plus from frimpong, you could sign the linked players end up with a surplus and not touch a penny in the bank. Thsts the model!

    With Nygren and the crazy amount of winger links, may we be switching to a 4-2-3-1 like Rodgers’ first spell? It would make sense with Tierney back.

    I think it would suit our current crop of midfielders (Hatate aside) more, and also would fit Lennon Miller too

    Just a thought, but makes a lot of sense with the links so far

    Definitely seems like he wants to go with a more fluid front 3 that can also switch between positions. Whereas at the minute Kuhn and Jota couldn’t be striker. And idah couldn’t play out wide.

    I’d hope he has assurances Maeda wants to stay as I think he’ll be vital to all this. Starting as striker and potentially dropping out wide if we need to bring any of the new signings into the middle mid-game.

    Then if anyone leaves replace them. I'd take that. I want another powerful runner in the midfield but only makes sense if a midfielder leaves.

    Why does everyone think Kuhn is leaving is there reliable sources for this? Think it would be mental to sell him this season unless for a HUGE fee after his performances last season up until around Christmas. He was top notch for us in big games, champions league especially
