    Dylan wrote that.

Springsteen is a machine though. Must be in his 70s and still doing 3 or 4 hour concerts.

    Edit.

Bruce does it justice but I really hate people covering Dylan's songs haha

:giggle1: I actually prefer the Springsteen version but fair enough. It’s a fantastic song.

I don't know what it is. It's not just Dylan's songs either it anyone who covers a song.

I just think you don't get the emotion and feeling of the song unless it's the person who wrote it. People essentially doing karaoke have no idea of the writers mindset at the time and cannot and will never be able to capture the emotion he felt when he sat down to write the song.

Springsteen does a good cover but Dylan's original is untouchable to my mind. I'm with you on this.

Another Side of Bob Dylan is one of his best albums imo. Sort of quietly dropped between some absolute legendary albums and might have been a little bit of an afterthought at the time.

Agreed, "Another Side..." is an excellent album and the song you've just posted ranks in my top 5 Dylan songs.

Just heard that Sly Stone died a couple of days ago at the age of 82.
