This looks like a great bit of business. Having him and KT in for very little outlay should really improve the squad while giving us the chance to push the boat out with transfer fees for other targets.

 

Looks a really good signing all in. Dembele type low fee deal, plenty opportunity for game time and has good pace and finishing going by those clips on page 1.

Wishful thinking if it's a cb not replacing CCV. Reckon it'll be a winger we spend money on

 

We will definitely make a big money forward signing. Whether that’s striker or winger depends on what position Rodgers views Maeda playing next season

 

For me maeda signs and extension and moves in to cf full time. Firstly think and his family like Glasgow (school etc). Secondly think he would take a big gamble moving going into a wc year, if he was to go to another club and not play he could find himself losing his seat on that plane. That puts maeda, idah and Osmond at striker and we need a couple wingers if Kuhn goes.

This is the Jota cover as it then moves Maeda out wide until he's back and fully fit.

 

Normally us being * over with youth leaving makes a nice change us doing it.

We need a top quality striker to come in as well, if we get this lad might mean Kenny’s days are numbered

 

No chance we are going till Xmas with that * Idah as our starting striker

 

Think anything we may actually spend will be spent on a striker.

Daizen 100% will be sold if he doesn't sign the new deal.

And this promising lad will be back up for Adam Idah.

Idah at least deserves a decent pre season behind him imo. If hes still * next year then yeah we should cut our losses

 

If the boys good enough then he will be the next £35m+ sell on. Imagine being his age, scoring 30 a season for the hoops as the main striker. He'll be wanted by all of Europe.

 

He's low risk. Exciting talent. Kvistgaarden type of profile.

Not getting ripped off. What's not to like ?.

 

With our budget and scouting we aren't getting a better striker than Maeda. If he signs a new deal we won't sign another striker.

 

Would think given his background this is a market Tisdale would know well. Suspect this signing has came from him
