Scott and Kieran both came into camp carrying some little issues over from the season. I think if we’d had a longer turnaround between the games they might have had a chance, but this is the end of season for those two.

He still genuine top quality, at least one level above anything in our entire squad.
The only reason we have him is because he's a Celtic man - normally a player at KT's level wouldn't even be discussed due to quality, wages etc.

KT will set standards on and off the pitch.
Why wouldn't we be excited by that?

 

There is an element of wait and see to this, that we won’t know until the season starts does he manage to play most games through August to the first international break? Is it an hour a game and someone else comes on?

Whatever it is we definitely need a good back up brought in and I would probably retain Anderson in reserve too just incase we need the numbers.

A good option to back him up would be Vetle Walle Egeli, brother of the young lad who is seen as a sensational at Nordsjaelland. He is only 21 and still playing for one of the smaller clubs in Norway, Sandefjord so wouldn’t cost much. Reminds me of a young Tierney, very strong defensively and is developing his attacking game well.

 

Think him and McTominay just decided to patch the last Scotland game since it's a pointless friendly and Clarke is a clueless *.

 

Should never have played the last friendly if he was carrying a niggle knowing fine well we have cl qualifier Clarke bang out of order for playing him and tierney should have pulled out …. It was a friendly

Players can't pull out of friendlies if its during an international window. If they say that they are injured they can be called up anyway so the national team can assess.

I think a bigger part of it not working is Clarke refusing to play wingers in front of Robertson.
