What a * race. The goat.

 

Aye that was an enjoyable race to watch. Pleased for Hamilton.

 

The GOAT is back.

 

Interesting race that. MacLaren 1-2, Piastri’s first win and none of them look overly happy. Personally thought Norris had the race won fair and square
Good to see Max getting his comeuppance as well- behaves like a spoilt brat.

 

Should never be team orders during the race regarding places .. the better fastest driver should always win. The amount of times team orders have beaten me for a good few pounds has been criminal. I have watched F1 since 1968 when Jackie Stewart drove a Matra Ford in the Italian gp and won it. Team orders were then non existent and was true racing then

 

Absolutely the right decision by the team to give Piastri the position back. He deserved the win and Norris would have looked like an idiot had he refused to do so.

Verstappen was an embarrassment, yesterday. He's definitely starting to feel the heat from McLarens and Mercedes. Ferrari still a wee bit further back.

 

Looks like Norris might finally get a win when he starts on pole.

Happy to see Lawson getting punted from the Red Bull. The guy is on his way to being an absolute roaster. Yuki might do well in that Red Bull.

Such a strange weekend for Ferrari. Getting the Sprint Pole/Win and then Hamilton clearly not having the pace on Race Day, Leclerc flying with a broken front wing and both guys ending up getting disqualified.

McLaren flying, Piastri is definitely in the conversation for World Champion. Still not 100% convinced that Norris has that killer instinct in the car, like Hamilton, Verstappen and Alonso have. Piastri definitely has that kinda 'no *' attitude. Will be exciting to see him and Verstappen go at it.

 

Lawson seems like a bit of a * but to get punted after 2 race weekends is harsh as *.
If he’s not up to it then it’s surely on the person who gave him the job ie. Horner and not him.
Horner just seems to be untouchable for some reason.

 

He was doing himself no favours in qualifying or in the races tbf.

 

I must just be the car mate. No one else but Max has been able to drive it on the limit consistently.

Without Verstappen, Red Bull would be a midfield team.

I would love for Yuki to jump in and be rapid, but I don't think it will happen. That 2nd RB seat is cursed.

Massive rumours that Horner will be in charge of Ferrari from 2026.

Verstappen likely to leave at the end of this season with Aston Martin pushing for him and Horner will know that they're going to struggle to find anyone close to that level who can drive that car.
