yeah i second tthat motion...home is where the heart is afterall and what he has already did for us is immense, so good luck and that, hopefully he's mentored mizuno to a good degree if not and he alsom leaves...well we still have sooo many good skillfull midfielders and great dead ball specialists.

Just read his auotbiography. Its quality. He is my favourite footballer atm. If he gets a freekick outside the D it is basically a guaranteed goal. He is technically the best at Celtic Park and * those who say we are like 10 men with him on the park. Him and Boruc are Strachan's two signature signings and naka epitomised the type of football Strachan wants to play.

I'm also devastated by this news. It's so difficult to replace this kind of talent in your team. Nakamura, Hinkel and Crosas are the only players in the squad who have real technical ability imo. The rest take longer to get the ball under control.

I can understand his motives tbh. Still sad, as he's a great player at times.

Be sad to see him leave but I'd be playing McGeady on the right & Maloney on the left anyway.

It will be sad to see him go, his tremendous free kicks are awesome especially the 2 against manu and the one against stmirren, i would liked to have seen him play centrally though maybe we will this season now that we have maloney.

Lawwell says he wants him to win us 4 in a row then he can go in the summer for nothing.

Did he actually say that? (honestly curious)
I still suspect this story is full of *. Some of the quotes from others I've seen he mentions the contract extension... which implies they're old, or there's * stirring, or something fishy.

I've been lazy looking for stories, but I've yet to see a Japanese article on it -- that speaks volumes to me.

All the WCQ games after the break are on int'l matchdays, so that angle seems kinda sketchy as well. And half the games are in the middle east... not really any closer to Japan.

Still, he could well leave in Winter so who knows.
