I actually feel a bit sorry for Taylor, because he's actually a brilliant footballer, both offensively and defensively. He just gets caught out in Europe a lot because of his lack of height, strength and especially pace; but short of using banned substances, there's literally nothing he can do about that.

Thank * we don’t have to worry about any of this next season. We’ll have a left back that can actually defend.

There’s literally nobody that’s not putting a very large share of the blame at Schmeichel. There’s more blame attached to Bernardo than Taylor also. It still doesn’t detract from the fact that Taylor should have been going to the winger to try and attempt to stop the cross.

He ends up doing neither though really. As I said, the threat is the man with the ball.

A very large share of the blame? He’s the only one to blame. He’s literally let the ball bounce of his arm into his own net. Crosses will come in, players will lose the ball. The only person to blame for that goal is Schmeichel and the deflection to Taylor is mental.

Taylor could have closed him down quicker, but that goal is 100% on Schemichel.

It's an absolute howler from him, no two ways about it.

    * from Bernardo. Lazy from Taylor. Howler from Schmeichel.

It was a bog standard catch/clearance from Schmeichel and he * it. Cost us the cup.

I’d say Bernardo has to take a share of it as well. What the * is he playing at. If it doesn’t lead to a goal, does that mean Taylor has done his job right by not trying to block the cross?

Seems hes signing a 3 year deal then.

Not sure what to think, but kt will be the man.

Still shoulders a lot of blame at weekend , he did well but goal he had a hand in and tbh everytime morris got the ball he raped him, thays why schlupp came on.

Where is this coming from? Huge if true, as it allows us to spend money elsewhere.

But he didn’t go with him either so what was he doing?

To be fair he clearly wasn’t the main culprit for the goal, it was terrible defending all round and a howler from Schmeichel, just don’t agree with the people saying Taylor wasn’t part of the problem. He could have done better.

Was a * goal allround. Schmeichel * up the most but it doesn't mean everyone else was perfect.

Greg Taylor is in PAOK's sights!

Celtic's Greg Taylor is one of the options that PAOK's people have singled out for reinforcement on the left wing of defense.

    PAOK
have singled out Greg Taylor for reinforcement on the left wing of defense. He is a 27-year-old Scottish full-back, who is free from Celtic and is in the sights of the "two-headed of the north" as reported on bwinSPORT FM by Dimitris Tsorbatzoglou . Developments are expected within the next few days as this is a case that had progressed before the... crisis of Razvan Lucescu with Ivan Savvidis and is now returning. The contacts have been in place for some time and it remains to be seen whether the "black and whites" can complete it immediately.

Taylor has been playing for Celtic for the past six years and has made 216 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing 33 assists. He previously played for Kilmarnock, making 131 appearances, scoring one goal and providing 10 assists.

He has also been capped 14 times by Scotland.

PAOK are weighing up a move for full-back Greg Taylor, whose Celtic contract is due to expire in the coming weeks.

The Greek side have been in contact regarding a summer switch for the player.

However, The Celtic Way understands that Taylor's wages could price PAOK out of getting their man.

The 27-year-old is set to become a free agent and has failed to put pen to paper on new terms with the Scottish champions

The Black and Whites, who finished third in the Greek Super League and qualified for next season's Europa League, are keen to conclude a deal with Taylor. Talks are set to continue, per sources in Greece.

With former defender Kieran Tierney having clinched a dream return to his boyhood idols on a free transfer from Arsenal, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has made no secret of the fact that he still wants Taylor to remain at Parkhead.

Speaking about Taylor's future ahead of Saturday's Scottish Cup final defeat to Aberdeen on penalties at Hampden Park, Rodgers said: "I don’t know, you’d better ask him.

“I had a long conversation with Greg yesterday. The door is not closed. I think probably both he and I are just focusing on the performance level of the team, and once the season’s over on Saturday, then he’ll have a bit more thinking time and space to be able to do that.

"I wouldn’t shut the door totally on it. I gave my feelings of what may happen a number of weeks back, just having experienced so many of these situations and what it can look like. I would say it’s not 100 per cent that it’s going to be his last game – I think I’ve put on record a number of times my keenness to keep him here
